Fascinating and colossal range of artifacts, furniture and 'surprises'. Well worth a visit - enough there to keep you browsing for an hour or two.

Such a cool place! A wide selection of collectables, antiques and oddities. There's always something new to discover each time you visit, with new pieces in regularly it's a real Aladdin's cave. On the Square Emporium is a credit to Belfast, such a special find full of special finds!

A very interesting way to spend an hour or so in Belfast. You can just wonder round the huge hanger full of eclectic ephemera and be amused and amazed by the random antiques, collectable, taxidermy, bar furniture, furs, china, glass... You name it. It's brilliant. But yes, as a previous reviewer says, it's expensive. If you are actually in the market for something weird or wonderful I'd try Rosses Auctions instead!

My first trip to on the square was 6/7 years ago looking for vintage cameras.It's now a trip I make several times a year just for the experience!Where else can you go throughout the year to meet Darth Vader, A bear and an Astronaut?On the square is there with a bear to greet you with a big hug (IE, the staff are great. Always insightful and friendly).

I’ve been a customer of On the Square for many years, and have enjoyed wandering around the labyrinthine rooms and exploring all the strange and wonderful items many times. My kids also love to walk around and explore and ask a million questions.It’s a great place to find an unexpected and memorable gift for someone hard to buy for and I always manage to find something for myself too.Some of my favourite items are the antique and vintage signs and educational items as well as the taxidermy!I actually work nearby now and love to walk around the shop on my lunch break.I’ve added a photo of my now 6 year old on a visit to On the Square when she was 1!
