Such a fab local event, really recommend for a fantastic night out.Standard of comedy has been, across the shows I've been to, consistently high.Notable mention to the study of Ross Kemp's A-Z of Hell, a book which hadn't received the attention it deserved until now.Shirley is a great host, and a talented artist in her own right.Alt Book Club is a Cheltenham highlight!

Love this gig so much! The vibe is so welcoming and the acts are always either super lovely, friendly, and interesting, or hilarious, usually both!! I love books and laughs and Shirley :)

Such a funny night! Loose theme of books but mostly just brilliant comedians being very funny! So good if you’re into reading but also good if you’re not. A great place to see newer comedians before they blow up.

The Alternative Book Club is 5 star! I went to my first one solo and felt so welcomed. Shirley is a fantastic host with a fantastic eye for new emerging talent. If you want to belly laugh whilst meeting a network of awesome people then I would highly recommend attending!
