I remember this place from years ago; I paid about £50 to check a car before I bought it and booked it in for an MOT; I received the same reliable service as always...

I have been using Ley-Dat for over 20 years and always find them accommodating, efficient and knowledgeable over different car makes and models. They also provide a very good service for motorcycles. Paul and his Team are friendly and curtious and reasonably priced.

The worst garage I have ever been to! I would not recommend this place to anyone! Charged a fortune and had to get the work redone somewhere else.When I took it to my usual garage to correct their work, they said the prices this garage were charging are an absolute scam and they were charging for unnecessary work

I had an engine rebuild when it was covid. I was getting mad because it was taking so long due to the pandemic. Paul was patient and making sure my car was done properly. My friends had there's done somewhere else and dident last a year but my car has been driving smoothly ever since

Very bad experience with this garage - disappointing after being recommended. Impossible to contact via phone when had the car for almost a week and when told the car would be ready at a specific time, it wasn't when we arrived to collect. The final price was over £150 estimated price, which was a shock (felt it was very expensive compared to other garages too). Also had issues with payment (we were able to prove the money was outgoing) but we were accused of stealing straight away. Sadly this meant they proceeded to block our car in with no warning and so were stuck there. The owner who dealt with us was also very rude and appeared to discriminate against us due to our age. Would not recommend - will be sticking to our usual garage Cheltenham MOTs" who are very much worth the journey from Gloucester!"

Paul bends over backwards to get you sorted and back on the road, with reasonable cost effective prices. He tells it as it is without trying to add other work that is not entirely necessary. Let's you make the choice.

The owner of the garage is eccentric but friendly and is good with older / classic cars. Good for MOT tests and can normally squeeze you in if it’s something small. Good for welding work too. Adrian works there, I’ve seen him working and he did a good job welding my Land Rover chassis. I put 4 stars because if you wait with the car for repairs/mot it can take a long time as sometimes they are overworked answering phones etc. I know where the kettle is tho.

Booked me in for my m.o.t at very short notice they are very accommodating and very thorough they look after your vehicle as if it was their own and they keep you informed and up to date with what work needs to be undertaken and very reasonable pricing for the high quality standard of workmanship

For years I have come here for my MoT, I now live in Bristol and still make the trip. They are always fair and friendly, I can't fault them.

Brought my car to them Saturday with exhust problem and air con... they fixed it same day no hassle. So rebooked my other car in for brakes. Fair prices too. Clearly a family run business as they take care of their clients and also really friendly would recommend them anyone.
