EWI Pro Insulation Systems

I had training for EWI pro yesterday with Paul. Great training session with lots of very useful information and in-depth explanations on different insulation systems and renders. Would recommend to anyone looking to get into external wall insulation.

I’ve just had my home rendered and I opted for the bio silicone render. It honestly looks so good and has made my house look really great! I’m so happy with it!

i cannoot recommend the thin coat silicon system and approved installer Zaro of Bulzar Ltd highly enough. Perfect answer to cracking render. Zaro and his team were hard working, professional, courteous and extremely tidy and respectful of my property. My house looks like a new build - I can't quite believe it. Have worried for a long time about damp issues and the frankly shabby look - such a weight of my mind to have it resolved in such a perfect way. if you're considering this as a solution - go for it. And if you're able to use Zaro, you're extremely fortunate!

I have used their EWI Paint to repaint some EWI that was fitted 12 years ago, and also, since there was plenty of paint left over, to paint some lime-rendered surfaces. I chose this paint as it claims to be breathable. Its surface finish and ease of application is good.The technical data sheet provided for the paint is not credible, with obvious mistakes, and the company did not reply to my email asking for an answer as to actually how breathable the paint is, nor to any evidence of test results. The only consolation is that the BBA certificate says that they tested for water vapour permeability, but does not give any figures.Alas, lots of companies in this sector claim that their paint is breathable, when it is certainly is not. I've taken a gamble that this company's products are what they claim, though I do fear that a few years down the line I might find out that they are not really.

Attended Ewipro stand with a colleague today at Excel London show today to enquire about their insulation/render systems. The guy I spoke to could not have been more disinterested or unhelpful if he'd tried. I asked for details to take away & was given a business card for a Business development Executive " Called Will Dodds. I pressed for more information as this is a live project. He reluctantly gave me a brochure. He was constantly looking over my shoulder. As I left I mentioned to my colleague how surprised I was at his lack of interest.

We have been buying from them for over 1 year now, and I am very happy with the products and most importantly the dedicated account manager, Matt. We are really pleased to have a one stop shop for all our rendering/cladding products. Very helpful staff and so are our clients really happy. They even have innovative solutions with any coloured window sills, DPC mosaic render and now can not wait to see their textured render products - thanks to Matt, Henry and the rest of team.
