Decided to try the takeaways here, as we were very disappointed with the other Indian restaurant (Bengal Cuisine) in Shipston. Chutney's did not disappoint! The Lamb Passanda and Tamarind Chicken we're both absolutely delicious and generous with the meat. We will definitely be back.

I've frequented Chutneys in Stratford many times and am glad they're now in Shipston as well. We'd ordered a lamb pasanda, lamb dhansak and vegetable rice. Service was timely, food was fresh and hot.The food is of the same excellent standard they've attained in Stratford. The portions are on the generous side, the lamb was plentiful with no fat or gristle, excellent.The vegetable rice is as it states, packed with fresh vegetables.I thoroughly recommend.

It was good to find the quality of the food is still as good as the Stratford restaurant used to be. Very pleased to see staff we knew from Stratford Chutneys. We are very lucky to have this facility in Shipston on Stour.

The only place I will eat from when it comes to indian food! Can taste the freshness and they are brillaint with allegies. I have a dairy allergy and they were very helpful and the food was honestly the best I have ever tasted!!

We got a take away for 4 last weekend. Starters, mains, and 3 nans. I had a balti and I'm sorry to say but this was the most bland curry I have ever had from a take out. I am convinced they missed out a step in the recipe as it literally had no flavour. My partner's tikka was very sweet, and the in-laws were also unhappy with bland and lacking flavour. The starters and nan were all fine, but for almost £100 you don't want just fine starters and nan. We have had food from here before and it was not like this, I live locally so I leave this review in the hope that next time we don't have the same experience.Also - this doesn't affect my score, but for almost £100 we also didn't get any free poppadoms. Maybe I have been spoiled by other restaurants but you start to expect it if the order is big enough...

Friendly staff and excellent food. It’s a small restaurant but offers take-always too. It’s an annex to the Coach and Horses - entry thru the bar. Well worth a try.

The food is fantastic, and staff very helpful! Weee able to cater for gluten free with ease and were very knowledgeable about when I called. Portion sizing was very generous with tender chicken & lamb all cooked to perfection. Will definitely be returning!Only part challenge is navigating to the Chutney counter which is to the right of the main bar in the pub. If the pubs busy, it can be a bit difficult to get through the crowd especially with a box full of food!
