I would like to raise a complaint from one of the staff, duty on 7.9.2023 at 7pm he was very rude. I was with my family, husband, 2 kids, and my brother. We want to buy 2 bottle of wines and 4 cans of beer, and other grocery items. He asked for my ID very rudely and said he cannot sell the item to us unless it’s a physical ID. I have been buying to this store for many times and i am only showing a picture of my id from my phone. He said “you need to do something to get my ID, so we did. We went home took our ID and my husband went back to the store but that rude staff (guy with a red 14 tattoo on his elbow) and the other guy (with curly hair) saying that he is the manager said that my husband cannot buy anymore from that store. They said we wasted their time, they we’re shooing away my husband. I can’t believe this happened. Can this LIDL store do that to a customer? I would like this guys apologized to me and my husband. He was out of the line. Was it because we are not from the country he can easily throw us away? you can check the cctv camera and investigate it.Karma is always around. Godbless to you who rudely and cursed us away. I hope all will be well with you. Poor guy.

Got a parking ticket, will never use this store ever again. Poor signage and no mention inside that you need to enter your reg number to stop getting a parking ticket.

Usual Lidl experience with a range of good value products and great pastries as always.The big difference here is they have self service tills which saves a.lot of time.Watch out for the car parking, you need to register your number plate to avoid a fine.

My visit to this branch of Lidl was tarnished by a parking ticket and a fall in the carpark (due to an extremely high kerb). It doesn't seem right to have to pay to shop in any supermarket. I have not experienced this in any other branch. My regular Lidl is at Newark on Trent.The store was fine and I would have enjoyed my visit if it hadn't been for the previously mentioned issues.

I have never witnessed disorganised staff in my life. When walking into Lidls you have a bakery directly in front of you, and on this occasion I actually saw a female member of staff putting out baked items and her hair loose not tied up or wearing the correct head wear so hair does not get on the food, it's about time trading standards witnessed this, and some not all staff can be very rude and unprofessional, they are a disgrace to the company they work for, I actually compared it to Aldis and now I'd rather shop there as there staff are unbelievably professional and so friendly.....Lidls should follow Aldis for outstanding customer service.

Its roomy and spacious but I have only given this 4 stars due to the food not having a very long shelf life. I take my elderly mum shopping and she needs a longer shelf life to see them through the week after their weekly shop. The Hovis Farm House Bread had to be eaten by tomorrow whereas most of the other supermarkets have a good few days shelf life on them. My parents can hardly eat all the perishable food in a couple of days! Almost forgot to key in my registration number and scan the receipt. Would be good if the cashiers reminded you to do this or if they had a sign at the check out so you don't forget. I didn't even know you had to do this the first time I went shopping there, so hopefully I wont get a fine in the post!! Its brilliant being that end of town and will be so convenient for many people. They did not stock the Cravendale Milk that my mum has and no Kelloggs either! Plenty of spaces in the car park, but I guess that depends what time of day you go. Staff very pleasant and polite and nothing seemed too much trouble when we struggled with the car parking receipt scanner! Great idea though when you get used to it! Good to see a Supermarket this end of town.

What I can say about this store is that the Store colleagues are really respectful and they will be happy to help you any time they are busy at something. Really helpful it has Public toilets to use a big tasty variety of food really cheap items the only disadvantage is that its alot of people so you have to Que up.

To be quite honest ,the staff at Boston Lidl are great all of them very helpful. No point in moaning about waiting at checkout , its not many minutes waiting . A lot of people that’s arrived in Boston recently are so impatient and rude to the staff , it gets you nowhere . Be polite to the busy staff . I have been going in there now for 3 years ,and they always are helpful and polite with me . Josh is always so nice with people ,and Kennedy his bride to be ,always very pleasant . Brought up well you see . Lidl is good to shop in so be nice ......I promise it comes back with a big smile . The security is always there if you need them . I love Lidl ,I love the staff ,plenty parking . Oh don’t forget sun glasses cause Josh has got perfect bright fluorescent teeth ,and when he flashes his pearly whites ,the light is blinding and if no sun glasses on , you could easily slap a kilo of extra pork chops in your trolley. But I’ll tell you the meat is locally sourced and the food is good for the price . To all staff at Tawney Street Lidl ,love you all .
