Animal Trust Vets CIC - Bolton

The end of life care and cremation for my poor baby has been disgusting. We've been loyally coming to this surgery for years and this is such horrendous, appalling treatment for what is honestly the worst time of my life, grieving for my sweet boy. Disgusting. Reception staff couldn't care less and had no compassion and I was lied to regarding my dog's body.

Got to be one of the cheapest vets in the country. Big shout out to the 2 reception staff very helpful and friendly.My vet just happened to be from the part of Spain where I go with my dogs. Lovely lady very kind and caring to my dogs cannot recommend the Animal Trust enough in very safe hands with your pappered pooches

Having just joined the animal Trust with our dog and cat, we have found the service and pricing so far, to very good.Way better than our previous vets.So, yes, we would definitely recommend the animal Trust vets.

This vet wrongly put down my cat. I have seen other reviews talking about a female vet that seem in line with the woman I met a couple years ago. My very elderly cat had been starting to lose his appetite during a heatwave in a badly ventilated apartment. One night I brought him in to the emergency vets at Bolton branch after he'd gone through tests on his kidneys, which all came back as functioning well. Not that I would find that out as a 2+ week delay meant I hadn't been told the results yet. This vet told me she had them and that he was old, in kidney failure and dying. I requested all his records after his death just for safekeeping. Having recently read them, he had no signs of kidney failure. She pressured me into putting him down there and then based on these results - which weren't even true. Even if she thought it was best to put him down despite the results there was no need to lie. I'm absolutely devastated all over again. I had him my whole life and the thought that we could've had more time, or he could've gone more peacefully instead of at the hands of this horrible woman, just hurts so much. There are failures at every stage here, from the time to talk to a receptionist, their attitude, the vet never getting back to you, delayed results. I should've known from how disorganised they were! Take your animals somewhere else.

I have not long visited this vets with my wonderful english bull terrier Lilly Lou.. fantastic service! Especially from one of the receptionists' JADE. Excellent customer service from start to finish. She was very polite, welcoming & even offered me a mint imperial. I will be hoping jade will be on shift the next time i want to bring my Lilly. Thanks again for a smooth & stress free visit!

My dog was at many other vets and this one is the best. Lovely and caring staff, affordable prices. They saved my dog's life. I am very thankful for them. Highly recommended.

We had to say goodbye to our family’s elderly Labrador, Marley, this weekend after he was rushed into Animal Trust, Bolton, with some medical issues. The vet (didn’t catch her name) was fantastic. She was professional, compassionate and caring when we (and Marley) needed it the most. She explained all of the options clearly, which helped us to make the tough decision to let him go. It was a nightmare of a night for us, but made a little easier by Animal Trust. Thank you for everything.

I have been attending this vet practice over the last few years, as my maxi cockapoo had to have a cruciate repair on both his back legs - the care by all the vets and nurses was outstanding - and my gorgeous dog recovered to full health - the reception staff are also helpful sympathetic and professional - the practice it’s self is large comfortable and clean, with plenty of seating in the waiting room. It is also a non profit practice, so any treatments are considerably lower than any other private vet practice. The consultations are free for everyone. Can not sing highly enough about it.

UPDATE**Again I've had to rely on animal trust to give one of my dogs the best affordable medical care available.Massive thank you to Asad (Assad) on the telephones for being so helpful, polite and just making the process to refer and book my frenchies BOAS surgery smooth and easy.It's definitely still 5 stars from me!!!(1st review)Vlad the ortho surgeon is an ortho rock legend!! He did my dog Zeus's tplo surgery and my boy walked out of there on all 4 legs with no issues and barely any bruising. unfortunately my dog got clipped by a car that jumped a curb 4 weeks later and shattered the femur in the same leg. I live in Surrey and the vets here wanted to amputate his leg without trying to save it...The animal Trust said drive him up to Bolton and Vlad would do the surgery. he gave me his word he'd try and save the leg at 50/50 odds.He said it was the most complicated fracture he'd ever fixed but he did an amazing job.Vlad is a Rock god surgeon!! he saved my boys leg that every other vet just wanted to cut off... at 47kg this was never going to be a long term solution..my boy walked outta that clinic 24 hours after surgery even though he was meant to stay for longer. Vlad couldn't even explain how my dog was walking so soon. He did a tremendous job..I thank God for the animal trust!!

Great service through the website to get the clinical history of my dog and to book appointments . The staff in the practice are very experienced and try to help pets in all circumstances. I would bring my pet back anytime as I trust them 100%
