beautiful area to take your binoculars and relax☺

Good for walks and bird watching. Well looked after and twenty pounds a year for parking, pay at town hall. If dog walking take your little black bags, saves me and others from treading in the smelly stuff which can ruin your walk, and shoes ! Keep it a lovely place.

Stunning views of both country park and the sea. Best beaches. Very tranquil. Lovely cycle paths. Beauty on my doorstep. Thankful everyday l'm there.

Holland Haven is a very windswept stretch of coastline dividing Frinton from Great Holland. There's an area of soft sandy beach, with a watermeadow Nature Reserve area behind the sea wall, stretching out towards Holland Marshes. Formerly it was known as Gunfleet Estuary & there's historic information provided about this on a notice board at the main gate into the Nature Reserve. It's a birdwatching paradise as well as a dog walking green space. The view inland stretches as far as Great Holland, where the church is clearly visible. The view out to sea is now both arrays of the Gunfleet Sands Wind Farm.

Lovely to walk along the seafront to clacton and back, about 5 miles. Don't forget the sunscreen though.

A beautiful little beach, most times almost deserted, great for dogs and having some peaceful retreat. About 5km from the main beach.
