I would encourage anyone to book with Tom who wants to tackle a more challenging hike and also have the confidence they’re in a qualified safe pair of hands to achieve this. I did two days with Trekking Tom Experiences Fairfield Horseshoe and Scafell Pike. The weather wasn't always on our side but I had the best two days hiking!! Tom is enthusiastic and keeps everyone's spirits up throughout the day! Although I travelled solo it was great being part of a group for the more challenging hikes on my list! I cannot fault the experience and wouldn't hesitate recommending Tom's Hikes to others. Just be prepared to hear Close the gap" an unhealthy amount of times during the day!! Epic experience with an awesome guide you won't regret it!!"

Top day yesterday with Trekking Tom and the people we met on the Heights of Hell. We had a laugh all the way round and got to see some fantastic scenery! Tom certainly knows his stuff about the Lake District and I’ll be booking on another hike with him soon. Cheers Tom

I recently booked a group walk with Tom up Scafell Pike to view the sunrise. From the start Tom made everyone feel included and part of a team. Tom is clearly experienced, with a clear understanding in mountaining skills and also motivation!! He supported and encouraged all to reach the top, while managing to make it fun, informative and enjoyable. I will definitely be booking further hikes with Tom

We had wanted to complete Striding Edge and climb Helvellyn for years but weren't confident enough to do it alone. In Tom, we found an incredibly knowledgeable & personable guide that gave us the confidence to tackle our first grade one scramble and cannot recommend him enough.We look forward to sharing more laughs with Tom once we've decided on our next challenge as we know we'll be in safe hands, no matter how much he encourages us to challenge ourselves outside of our comfort zone.Thanks Tom, you really helped to give us some lasting memories.

We booked Tom for a private guided walk. I have always wanted to hike Helvellyn via Striding Edge but am nervous with heights and was apprehensive how we would manage on our own.I knew I’d made the right decision from the moment he said hello at the start of the day. I was immediately put at ease by his friendly and calming presence and felt supported and empowered. In fact by the time we were half way across Striding Edge I was smiling for photographs and even dare I say it … was throughly enjoying the challenge.Couldn’t recommend Tom more highly. In fact we’re even looking now at booking for future hikes.Thanks Tom you were brilliant!

We had such an amazing day with Tom. Even though I live locally I’d never climbed Helvellyn. Tom made the experience feel safe, he has a lovely manner and is so knowledgeable. My partner and I felt relaxed and comfortable that we could trust Tom’s expertise and enjoy the day. I also wanted to swim in red tarn and Tom kindly adjusted the walk so I could have a dip. I’d definitely recommend Tom to anyone wanting to do a more challenging hike. Thanks so much Tom!
