Avant Art Tattoo

have been to this studio three times now for tattoos with May and will definitely be back for many more. from the second you arrive at the studio the artists are attentive and all so lovely. never felt more comfortable in a studio and when getting a tattoo then i have when i am here. the artists take their time to make sure their work is at an incredibly high standard and will touch up your tattoos with no issue whatsoever. huge huge thank you to all the artists at the studio for making my experience enjoyable and comfortable one from the second i step into the door to the second i leave.

My only trusted studio. After one bad experience with a previous tattoo (which I am currently hoping to get covered up by the wonderful ladies at the studio), I decided to get a sentimental piece done on my back by the lovely Bry.First of all the studio is beautiful, Lavale offered me tea/coffee when i first came in, there’s a candle lit, toffees in a bowl and stunning art everywhere. I came in with a pit in my stomach as I’m quite an anxious person and the atmosphere and how I was treated made it go away instantly.All three of the artists there are so sweet and kind, and during the whole process, Bry was so patient, reassuring and understanding.Even when I initially panicked thinking I didn’t like it, I was reassured that it was normal. I definitely want to come back here again to fix my previous mistake❤️❤️

A fantastic studio! Immaculately clean and comfortable. Val is not only an amazing artist, but she really takes the time to ensure you are happy with your design and calm any nerves. Would definitely make the 2 hour journey again

Last week I visited Avant Art tattoo for the first time, and was tattooed by the wonderful Bry. The studio was bright, clean, well decorated and easy to get to. On arrival I was offered coffee and the other artists I spoke to were so friendly. Bry was really thorough with showing me my design, making amends, sizing the stencil and sorting out placement, I was really happy with all of her suggestions, she even gave me a lollipop to suck on whilst being tattooed, it was a really relaxing tattoo experience (I even fell asleep whilst being tattooed, haha). The tattoo itself came out looking amazing, and all the aftercare was explained thoroughly - and I was given an aftercare leaflet for further reference. I cannot recommend Bry and Avant Art Tattoo enough, and I will definitely be returning soon.

First time visiting Advant Art Tattoo studio and it was an absolutely lovely experience from start to finish. I had a fine line tattoo completed by May and it came out perfect. She was so knowledgeable in terms of placement and sizing. Would definitely recommend/return. Thanks May!

Highly recommended!The experience from initial contact all the way through to aftercare is exceptional. Getting a first tattoo can be daunting but the friendly, welcoming, relaxed environment means any anxieties are immediately forgotten. From the moment you walk in the door it is obvious that everyone there loves what they do. I don’t know how to describe it other than to say that the place and the people have such positive energy. It feels safe and inclusive. Everyone involved should be incredibly proud of what they have created.May was amazing from the start. She was thoughtful, patient and considerate. I had various ideas, but she helped me focus on one. I thought I knew what I was wanting but found it hard to articulate. May took on the idea and produced a artwork that I truly love. The end result is beyond anything I could have hoped for. It already feels part of me and I couldn’t be happier.The temptation to revisit my other ideas is strong, but for now I’ll just enjoy the tattoo I have. When it’s time to add another, I won’t hesitate to get in touch with May, and look forward to another visit to Avant Art.

I’ve now had two tattoos done by May and I’m absolutely over the moon with them. The studio is so bright and airy, everyone is so friendly and accommodating, and I will also add that it smells amazing! May’s designs are beautiful and her attention to detail is amazing. You’ll feel so comfortable here - I’d definitely recommend! I’ll definitely be back for my third tattoo soon!

First tattoo with avant art and I must say it was the best experience I’ve ever had, the artwork is phenomenal. I loved how accommodating and kind the staff were. My tattoo was done by May, her level of detail and care was incredible. Definitely coming back!

I had my tattoo done by Lavale in March 2023. All artists were very friendly and all of their work is amazing. The studio was so clean and welcoming, the whole experience was lovely. There were sweets provided and hot drinks. My tattoo has healed amazingly (photo is 3 months later) and I am over the moon. Highly recommend and I hope to go back!

I had my tattoo done by May at Avant Art Tattoo and to say I’m in love with it is an understatement. I have had so many compliments from people about it, and I am so happy with how it turned out. The whole experience was also great, the studio was very relaxing and a lovely space to be in. I will most definitely be back - planning 2nd and 3rd tattoos now!!
