William O'Mara and Sons, Funeral Director

Feels strange reviewwing a funeral director and recommending him. However, I do it with ease, William was amazing with our family and even came to meet my dad and discuss things that he wanted. He always made us smile. Nothing was a problem for him, even opening himself on a Sunday for us to have a rosary for Dad and collecting Dad on easter Sunday. His prices are so reasonable and he made a horrible process just that little bit easier. Thank you.

Would highly recommend William O'Mara from start to finish the organising of my late mother's funeral, William was so kind and thoughtful from taking care of my mum ,when she was laid out she was so beautiful and nothing was to much for him from organising to to price, top class .

The service we received from William was exceptional. My father sadly passed away in Spain and William not only organised everything here in Scotland, but also helped with my father's repatriation. When our grandmother passed away recently I had no idea where to begin when it came to organising the funeral. Dealing with the funeral from start to finish i felt at complete ease from the minute i spoke on the phone. Their personal and efficient service made a hard time a lot easier. Considerably more cost effective than competitors i had called. The service and way in which me and my family were handled could not have been better. Following the untimely death of my mother, my sisters and I needed to take care of the arrangements and were recommended William O'Mara and Sons by a family friend. Having never done this before we were a bit bewildered and didn't know how these things usually took place, however with William's support and guidance we were able to arrange the funeral and subsequent arrangements with as little fuss as possible at a time when the last thing needed are any complications. William personally went above and beyond in directing us on who we could contact and what we should do next in ensuring everything was taken care of. The care, time and attention shown to me, my sisters and the rest of my family at what was a very difficult time was first rate and I would recommend William in future to anyone who finds themselves in need of a funeral director.

We as a family would highly recommend William O'mara and sons as funeral undertakers.Their care and attention to Peter's appearance was amazing in every detail. William showed great empathy for the family during our bereavement. In these troubled times with coronavirus he made sure that the cortege was driven past areas where people could show their respect. From start to finish William was a brilliant person to deal with. When everything happened suddenly, we were stressed trying to figure out what to do but William guided us through the process and it was all so much smoother than any of us were expecting.
