Far better served having the employee standing at the front door when you come in, being on a cash desk...serves absolutely no purpose whatsoever standing at the front door...put on a desk and move the queues quicker, thats just common sense

Was really surprised today that only one teller was serving whilst other staff were available. A queue formed and a man before me complained. Staff were very pleasant however the staffing at the bank is clearly not fit for purpose. I waited over an hour just for change. I think there is a tacit assumption that because you have so many machines now you dont need many staff - clearly you do! Probably my worst banking experience purely due to the needless ness of the very very long wait. On a Thursday afternoon to - a queue of only 8 people when I first joined, not exactly banking rush hour. Not at all what o expected and kept me away from work for the whole afternoon.

This is my second attempt to withdraw money at this branch ( a sum larger than the hole in the wall" allows). The queue was almost out the door

Staff were excellent, took care of all my tasks on the day and couldn’t have been more helpful with getting my mum get started with online banking.

Been banking with rbs for years now but recently there atm machines won't accept my money old or new notes and often there out of service which leaves me to join the line of people waiting to be served. Perhaps regular sevicing atms and maybe 3 people on desks when people are waiting. Thinking about changing my bank

I’m disappointed in the service from this RBS in Perth. I’ve been an RBS customer for many years (and a previous business customer) using many of their banks throughout Scotland, but since this bank had its refit, there are less staff to help with queries. You are pointed in the direction of the pay in machines, which is fine if they are 1) working 2) you can work them.I can’t fault the staff, they are friendly, but often run off their feet. I visited a couple of weeks ago after a bank holiday and the queue was literally out the door. I counted 15 customers in the queue with only 2 cashiers on at the desks, so I went to the pay in machines. 2 out of 3 of the machines weren’t working. The only one that was working malfunctioned whilst I was using it and kept hold of the cash I was trying to pay in. I had to try and get hold of a staff member who did help me in the end, but this meant none of the machines were working and a growing queue behind me.RBS, please look into this and look at the pay in machines. (This isn’t the first time the machines have gone down whilst I’ve been in the bank)During my visit, there were many customers who were unhappy and mentioning how long they had been customers with RBS for and that they were going to look at banking elsewhere.I hope this gets rectified very soon so I can increase my star rating.

Took coins in to be cashed in staff very helpful in the bank

Was in branch this morning 16/01/20. I was first in the queue. Usually I have several people in front of me. Was approached by a member a staff who asked me what I was going to be doing. I said pay in a cheque, mentioned cash, mentioned a couple of other things. With that he scoffed the cashier would do the cash part but would send me back to him to do everything else. This member of staff had such an attitude problem. Well Mr Arrogant - in this case I feel it's very apt. The cashier DID do everything for me and couldn't have been more helpful or friendly if he'd tried. Please take a leaf out of his book on how to treat customers. It's true what they say, there's always one bad apple.

The bad reviews must be outdated.Staff were really helpful, friendly and fast.
