Fantastic little shop with a lovely selection of hand-dyed yarn and a very helpful and knowledgeable owner. I look forward to being able to attend a workshop or zoom crafting night sometime!

Love Claire’s eye for colour both in her dying and also when putting skiens together for kits.She also does amazing treat boxes, each comes with a unique colour way and some stunning gifts from other local suppliers. If you’ve never purchased from Cookstom Crafts trust me you will not be disappointed.

Workshop was really well run and made the process of knitting straightforward and easy. Claire is super friendly and helpful. I've also got lots of yarn from Claire and it is absolutely beautiful and fun to work with.

Cookston crafts is one of my absolute favourite hand dyers! Not only are the colours gorgeous but Claire is very friendly and helpful. This year I decided to treat myself to one of her treat box subscriptions and I am so glad I did. The yarns have been absolutely stunning and the thoughtful little extras that are included make it well worth the money. Recieving them in the post really makes my day! I highly recommend you check out the website!

Had a few treat boxes including the valentines one and crochet up these socks for myself, also been to a couple of craft afternoons too, lovely workshop space always look forward to getting the opportunity to go back

Claire teaches a great Brioche workshop. I have taken the brioche class from others and could never understand it. Claire goes at just the right pace and gives very clear verbal and visual instruction. The BEST CLASS EVER!!!!!also she dyes the very very best yarn ever. Gorgeous and you can tell the dyer has a lot of pride in her work!! And besides the excellent fab yarn-she is very nice-it always helps to spend my money when it goes to a nice lady.

Claire produces a huge range of colours to compliment and contrast each other and is always extremely helpful should you need input. I love her treat boxes and look forward to them popping through my letter box they make my day and the yarn is always beautiful along many more treats she chooses from local suppliers. Currently I am doing an online sock class and learning so my new techniques that I never thought I would master I would recommend signing up for one if you get the chance.

Claire has created a wonderfully welcoming studio at Cookston Crafts where I've attended classes and purchased her beautiful hand dyed yarn. The website is also easy to use and the photos show yarn colours really well. Don't miss out when the Treat Boxes are on offer - I got the Hogmanay one and loved the yarn and local goodies!

I found Cookston Crafts through a virtual yarn festival. I loved how Claire clearly demonstrated her passion for her art and showed off her glorious hand dyed yarns often with knit up garments. She shares her wealth of knowledge avidly and I had the opportunity to purchase and take part in a virtual brioche knitting workshop. Claire was an excellent and patient teacher and best of all, I can now brioche knit and read and understand the pattern! I've also subscribed to the Bi-monthly Treat Box, and boy, what a treat it is. Expertly and thoughtfully put together. I'd highly recommend you give Cookston Crafts a try, I have every confidence you won't be disappointed.
