Bridee and Whyte made our family funeral special and nothing was too much trouble. We really appreciated the location, attention to detail and services all in one place. We didn't choose them on price as we really liked their personalised funeral space, but they are really well priced too. Thank you Donna and Brian for your care and attention to Mum. Hugh and Jane x

Donna and Brian have been nothing but outstanding whilst caring for our family after the very sudden death of our dad. Their personal touch was a great source of strength at what was a very difficult time for our family. Their attention to detail in carrying out my mums wishes made everything run as smoothly as it possibly could on the day. The visual tribute which Brian put together was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for Donna and Brian. They are a couple who are moved from their hearts to take such good care of your family. I can’t recommend them highly enough if you find yourself in circumstances where you need a caring, outstanding, reliable funeral home with a personal touch.

I rate this establishment the highest possible score. When we lose someone we want extremely caring and helpfulness people around us. At Bridee Whyte you get that. Donna and Brian are so caring and want to help and provide the bestpossible help to you. I have been so impressed with them that I am wanting to pass on to others how they have helped me and my family through a very difficult time. They provide whatever you would require. It can be formal or relaxed. The choice is yours. Also they care about the local community. They have put hanging baskets outside their premises to make our high street look lovely.

Engaging Brian and Donna was like a breath of fresh air. Their premises are bright and welcoming as they are themselves. Nothing was too much trouble, there was no upsell and no time constraints. Using their on-premises chapel to say our final good-byes was an uplifting experiences and they did everything to accommodate our wishes. Everything was done beautifully and while money wasn’t a driver, it was easily the lowest price we found.

Bridee Whyte's is incredible. I found them during the worst time of my life when I unexpected lost my mum, my best friend. I have had the most beautiful and comforting experience, way beyond what I was expecting. Brian and Donna are amazing people, so compassionate and understanding. They are exactly the guidance I needed with the added bonus of a lot of laughs and much needed hugs along the way. The care and respect they showed towards my mum and my family was unbeatable, I really felt that my mum was in good hands.They also allow dogs which is bonus! The service they helped me plan was beautiful and so so personal, on the day I was expecting to struggle, I found myself smiling, laughing and beaming with pride with the speech that Brian prepared,(he has an amazing way with words!) it's like they had actually known my mum. Donna is lovely, amazing at her job as she very gently explained every process to me. I was offered everything, a weekend or evening funeral, a lock of hair, sitting with mum however many times whenever I wanted and even advice and help with clearing mums home out. They were also very happy to accommodate my puppy along the way (she loves them too)I feel very lucky to have found them, I really don't know what I would have done without Bridee Whyte.Forever Thankful.

From the outset, Brian and Donna were fantastic in organising my nans funeral. This was a very difficult time for our family but they supported us through every step and were very kind, and thoughtful. We really loved the fact they wanted to get to know nan and us as a family - we were only too happy to share stories about nan and despite it being a sad time, it was very nice to see Brian and Donna keen to know more about her. Their care and attention as well as their personal and friendly touch really put us at ease. The funeral itself was held in their chapel which was a lovely room and overall with the visual tribute Brian put together and the music we had chosen, it was a great send off for nan and was exactly how we hoped it would be. My nan would have liked Brian and Donna and she would have definitely approved of her send off. We couldn’t have done it without Brian and Donna’s care and attention and as a family we cannot thank them enough.

It’s hard to express how grateful I am to Brian and Donna. Losing my dad far younger and earlier than expected was a complete shock and they provided gentle and caring dedication in the way they looked after my dad and my family in his passing. I can’t recommend them highly enough, nothing was too much trouble and they did unexpected things with ease for us such as arranging a beautiful tribute and a chance to say goodbye in a calm and peaceful setting in their celebration room. Whilst we were there people waved through the window to them from the street and they knew each persons name which shows their caring approach towards the people they serve. Thank you from the bottom of my heart from the Whiting family, and from my dad who you so carefully looked after.

Brian and Donna were not only efficient, but empathetic and sensitive when taking care of my mother. They made the experience as painless as possible for my father and I, and I would highly recommend them to all without hesitation. Donna and Brian looked after our Dad so well. It was very reassuring that Dad was still nearby whilst in Bridee Whyte’s care.From the moment I stepped in the door I knew I had chosen the right place. The welcome was like being welcomed by friends. It was a very uplifting and positive experience.Brian worked wonders with a fitting eulogy and moving visual tribute. Donna was fantastic, she is so knowledgeable and I knew Dad was in good hands with Donna looking after him.The whole experience surpassed my expectations and I would highly recommend them. I will cherish the memory of my Dad’s send off, he would have loved it!

We tragically lost our 34 year old daughter on June 20 2023 and were plunged into complete shock. The coroner asked us which funeral home we were using and we had no idea. We chose Bridee Whyte and are so very thankful for that decision. Donna and Brian were amazing, they guided us through everything with compassion, professionalism and a friendly approach that made us feel so supported. They offer all aspects of funeral planning, but for us the on-site celebration room was just what we wanted for our daughter. The service they provided enabled us to give our beloved daughter a beautiful funeral.
