Patisserie Valerie - Leeds

Came here to use our voucher for afternoon tea. The voucher wasn’t working but the manager Viki helped us and we were able to enjoy our voucher. During our afternoon tea we were told we could have unlimited drinks, the cakes were lovely, the manager and her staff were very accommodating to us. We all had a lovely time and can’t thank you enough x

I came here a few days ago for lunch with my mum and brother, upon arrival we were greeted with chaos inside that looked more like a scene from McDonald's on a Saturday rather than a French cafe, the table we selected was covered in filth, food, plates and cups from the person that was there before and had not been cleared away.Their were only two staff one was busy taking and fulfilling orders from people in the cafe, the other was busy doing something on the till and talking on the phone, as well as constantly running in the back room, our table was eventually cleared, we were sitting their for quite sometime expecting someone to take our order, so I went to the counter to ask and was told you have to order at the till, I was sitting there for half an hour without been told this.Their was food all over the floor, tomato sauce which I got all over my new shoes, the food was cold and hard when it arrived 40 minutes later, the tea cup my mum was given had tea stains in it and when she took it to the counter to get a clean one, all that happened was it got wiped out with a dirty dish cloth, I was quite mad about this so I took it back myself and demanded a clean cup, the guy got quite shirty with me saying it was fine.I have never experienced such bad service at this place before, I would not come back again after this as I am too upset by it, it ruined my whole day in Leeds and started feeling very ill later on in the day, so we had to leave early and go back home, such a disappointment.I would have left 0 stars if possible.

Visited for an Afternoon Tea, and I highly recommend it! Great staff, amazing presentation and it was all FAB-U-LOUS (in my grandmas words), I highly recommend this as a stop on a trip to Leeds

Very thankful that this was a gift voucher as we were appalled with the service we experienced at this store. We were met by a very rude assume 'manager' who dismissed us at the till. I noticed her way of speaking to customers was very rude yet followed by 'darling' so you didnt realise she was being rude. Following this, the service was very slow. We weren't asked once if we liked our food or if we needed anything. In particular we had unlimited coffees/tea but wouldn't have had any more than 1 if I didn't get up and have to ask a waiter behind the till if we could have another. During the meal, we could hear the three staff laughing and joking and being inappropriate with each other. The manager kept taking the mick out of the girls' accent and her pronunciation of words. The girl laughed it off, but it was weird. I imagine someone with the same nationality probably wouldn't like this if they were sat overhearing this. The staff seemed more interested in having a laugh than providing good service. Wouldn't return and wouldn't buy someone a voucher either. I'd hope the other stores are a bit more professional

Went today for afternoon tea, would Def recommend. A very good portion of sandwiches, scones and sweet treats.

Good coffee and cozy small place. Quick service. I tried the raspberry tart and the latte. The tart was so good and the latte as well. I saw everyone trying the afternoon tea It should be good,I definitely need to try it next.

Staff = amazing ! Went in today with my partner and Daughter and the young man with the long hair and beard was fantastic with her and helped her choose cake and chatted about her drawing. Very friendly and lovely cakes. Above and beyond with his service. Many thanks.
