Blood Bridge Car Park
The Rock Pools here are a beautiful place for a dip. Nice sized car park with public toilets and a coffee truck at the weekends.

Blood Bridge Car Park
Beautiful walk from here, but not enough parking. Police were giving out fines to people safely parked, leaving enough space for other cars to pass etc. I hope to see more parking provided in the near future. We do bouldering and cold dips in the river.

As a car park it is very good, it even has public toilets. But waking down to the coastline is even better.

Blood Bridge Car Park
Beautiful coastal walk leading to a trek upriver, jumping between stones under the road bridge leading to the Bloody Bridge itself. Bring a change of socks and good footwear. On hot summer days, or if brave in the colder seasons, take a dip in the natural fresh water pool under the bridge. Blackberries galore end Summer to October. If the upriver trek is too adventurous then there is a well kept path to the bridge over the road.

Blood Bridge Car Park
Good starting and end point for a walk up the Mournes. Toilets, carpark and picnic area. No children’s area for running around unsupervised. Coastal path and a favourite spot for ‘bouldering’ along the river. A note of caution if walking; there is no footpath along road from bloody bridge carpark to Newcastle for about a mile until you get closer to Newcastle

Busy place so parking could be an issue. Toilets on site. There's a short loop walk from the carpark with information boards on area.
