Ben Rose Guitar Tuition

I'd highly recommend Ben as a tutor. I've been studying with Ben for a few months after picking the instrument up again after hitting a rut learning alone through pre-recorded online lessons. Ben has a great ear and has helped me play things that I could never imagine coming close to, as well as helping me come on leaps and bounds with my feel and technique.

Been going to Ben for guitar lessons since June 2019 and I can't recommend him highly enough, I always come away from a lesson feeling like I'm making great progress and learning new skills.Like a lot of people I started with an online course, working through basic chords and rhythms for around a year but felt that I reached a point I couldn't get past and it felt like a chore to practice. After the first lesson with Ben I was amazed at the difference, I went away reinvigorated and practice was fun again!Ben is a patient teacher who is very adept at knowing what you are capable of, even if you don't. It doesn't matter if it's a classic rock riff, rhythm practice, or the solo from a Pink Floyd song - Ben's lessons are perfectly structured to push you forward at a comfortable pace without feeling overwhelming.

Have been learning guitar with Ben for a few months. Ben provides an excellent service for anyone who was an absolute beginner (like me). He is very patient and enthusiastic about teaching guitar. Lessons are very flexible in terms of timing and content, plus fun and great value for money. All round a very enjoyable experience and one I plan to keep going for foreseeable future.

Although there is plenty of iPad's, tablet's applications, if your style of learning is to have a real person, who can show you, guide you and explain you any of your problems with paying guitar, Ben is the person you should turn to.I am very pleased with the structure and the content of the classes, which gently introduce next steps of techniques and skills of playing guitar. I started from complete beginner and Ben took me from simple finger exercises, which I did not even know about, to chores and songs playing. Ben is very experienced, patient and understanding. Classes are also very flexible, so if you have busy life you should not be worry about that. Highly recommending the classes with Ben.

I started lessons with Ben as a complete beginner with zero musical experience. The lesson structure is well thought out and he is extremely knowledgeable and patient.The beginner lessons feature different elements of finger exercises, chords and riffs. You will surprise yourself at how quickly these come together so you are comfortable with the instrument and learning to play songs.Ben focuses the lessons around music the student likes and wants to play; each lesson feels fresh and you really feel like you are making progress. I started guitar lessons with Ben last December, and have greatly enjoyed learning under his watchful eye (or ear). Ben is very patient and encouraging, and is flexible with the choice of tunes to fit with what I enjoy, and not just learning a set of tunes I have no interest in.
