Orchard Blacksmith are an excellent Company. Mikey Orchard is a lovely person with a skilled and professional team. Mikey listens attentively and then finds a solution to the problem. We had a narrow turning at the top of the first flight of stairs which was made more difficult by the position of a small but necessary banister. We wanted to be able to easily remove the banister when moving furniture up or down the stairs but at the same time the banister had to be secure when back in its position. We now have a banister which fulfills both functions. The second banister on the top floor was replaced and the new bracket attachment is both attractive and functional. A lovely detail. Extra stair rods were added to both flights of stairs and they are all beautifully aligned.

We contacted Orchard without having any clear idea about what we wanted other than to get some railings around our new patio.Mikey set about some design ideas which completely blew us away. We were so happy with the finished railings we wanted more and discussed with Mikey steps coming down to the lawn with additional rails. They arranged to do the whole job including the building works which involved several visit's getting all the twists and bends in exactly the right place. They have meticulous attention to detail . Would highly recommend.

Orchard Blacksmith worked with us to construct a handrail to make safe a drop from ground floor patio to our new basement level patio. They were thorough, offered lots of advice and design suggestions, listened to what we were trying to achieve and completely delivered. I am super happy with the work produced and feel wholly confident in recommending them to anybody else looking for blacksmith work. Thanks guys!

Excellent Full Day Blacksmith experience.Sean is very knowledgeable and great explaining the processes as well as being very patient, helping out if required or just letting you get on with your attempts. Amazing how much work can be done in a day, even for a complete novice.Highly recommended!

I was looking for someone local to create some bespoke hand rails to help with mobility in an apartment, and for them to be in keeping with the style of the property. We originally commissioned Mikey and Andy to replace our rotten old timber balcony and exterior landing to the kitchen door with a galvanised metal version.We discussed various designs with them and eventually settled on a beautiful handcrafted, bespoke organic bulrush design.Their customer service, workmanship and attention to detail is phenomenal. We were so happy with the results, we immediately commissioned a matching Juliette balcony and steps up to the door at the front of the house.We are delighted with the results. The whole house is improved by the beautiful metalwork, which is guaranteed for 100 years! It is so well constructed, it should outlast us all!The whole experience has been so easy.
