I really enjoyed the Christmas room, beautiful things there, I bought some Christmas presents that had been eluding me. It's a fantastic historic building that you should take the opportunity to go into for that reason alone. The main shop is nice but quite dear. Its a nice place to shop for presents, especially for older people, lots of scarves and a very good selection of mugs.

A beautiful example of 17th century tastes and construction . We visited in early December to find a classical choir in full song and rooms with Christmas gifts for sale. Maintenance and care of the building is carried out by the dedication of volunteers and is entirely self funded. Well worth a visit !
