A pleasant atmosphere at the D'oro restaurant, a very good restaurant with quality products and home-made pasta, a rarity in UK restaurants these days. Pizza and desserts are absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend with all confidence.

Highly recommend authenticity and quality ingredients. Our party of four very impressed with each course. The friendly staff are welcoming and accommodating. Homemade pasta is a must! We’re planning a return visit to sample the pizzas! A gem of a place!

This place was recommended to me by a friend. And wow they were right to do so, first of all the service is outstanding. You can really tell that its run well and to a high standard. Everything was spotless and all the staff were more than eager to help while still allowing you to enjoy your evening. The food was outstanding, you can tell from taste that the pasta is homemade which is very rare nowadays and the napolitana sauce was as authentic as the sauces I've had in Italy. I really can't say enough good things about this place and will definitely be coming back. I feel like I've got to try everything on the menu!

Little gem! Delicious Italian dishes made of top-quality ingredients Chefs put a lot of effort and passion into their work, which is clearly visible in the presentation and taste. Highly recommended to everyone who wants to experience exceptional flavours and service.

Booked this restaurant after seeing it in Voice magazine. Booked for Friday night for 2 people. The restaurant space is quite small, but nicely decorated, and comfortable.Warm and friendly welcome, and really good service from start to finish. There were two larger groups there and sometimes you feel a bit forgotten when that happens but this really wasn't the case here.I had bruchetta re d'oro and the home made tagliatelle pasta with ragu. My husband had seabass with spinich and ricotta tortellini. Also a nice bottle of pinot to go with it. The food was fabulous. The seabass really well seasoned, and the portions generous but not so big you feel stuffed just looking at it.I hope to go back in the new year, and I would recommend it to everyone.

Very nice food, reasonably priced, very friendly and accommodating service. Place was clean but very small, only about 5 tables; not much atmosphere because of this but it was pleasant. Would gladly recommend.

Really enjoy the food, especially the starter, lovely and friendly staff, small space but clean the only problem is the smoke from the kitchen when they start grill or fry the food , I definitely will go again with my 5 year old

Excellent taste. This is our second time visiting this restaurant in Newport, and we cannot fault the service. The staff was friendly and attentive, and it was a nice little cosy place with Italian music and a great selection of food. Number one choice from now. We fully recommend it.
