Reading the reviews from other locations, it seems all of Luminate’s resources were shipped to every location but Wolverhampton’s West Park. I’ve seen more lights up on the houses in my street, quite frankly! A sparse smattering of fairy lights and a couple of lit up tunnels does not make a ‘spectacular, illuminated trail, full of wonder and intrigue, to delight and enthral your senses’ as the advertising indicates. So disappointed in our experience, and what’s more, embarrassed that I organised this as an extended family outing for us all to enjoy.

Fantastic! :DI went to Birmingham last year too and they've updated everything and added more features.Really good value for money light trail as I've been to other which have cost £120pp!! This is only like £20.Food and drink on-site including Fire Pits to keep warm in Winter and toast Marshmallows on.Very good.

Went to luminate birmingham botanical gardens. Poor experience for price, so much random plastic junk and ZERO festive references. It's more like something you'd see in a cheap nightclub. It is fun for very young kids but you have to battle the very small lanes. The moon looks like a tampline found in a skip with a secondary school projector. I think the tickets at bleheim Palace are double the price + petrol money but if you can blenheim place would be a 1000 times better and actually reference Christmas and New Year.

My partner and I dragged ourselves out on the cold, dark, rainy evening, and were so glad that we did – we LOVED it! I especially loved the fairies and music, and it gave us a magical festive fuzzy feeling. :-)

We went to Birmingham Botanical Gardens last year and enjoyed it that much I knew I wanted to do it again this year at a different location. We decided on Coombe Abbey as we thought it was an Abbey, it's going to be good! But it was very very underwhelming! Walking for ages with nothing but lights along the fence and a couple of up lights on trees. In-between nothingness, there a few really unimpressive light things. It was such a shame because it had so much potential because of the grounds it was in, and a rip off for the price. Won't be going back next year. Webbs of Wychbold put on a better display so we will be going there instead.

We attended last weekend and after spending a fortune on food and drink at the start we were informed that they were having to close - due to poor weather conditions. Absolutely no issue with the fact they cannot control the weather but a week later we are still waiting for an email response for a refund. This was the only date we could attend and we were assured by the staff that 'they are really good at responding' and 'will be accommodating'. We are yet to see this.....

Visited last year and again last night at Walton Gardens, Warrington. Loved it and was again thoroughly enjoyable. The fairies were still magical. The hot rum drink half way round was also a bit special. Will be going again next year. Passed feedback to Graham on way out.

Another amazing spectacle for Luminate at Coombe.If anything can get you in the mood for Christmas, this winter wonderland certainly does it again.So many fantastic elements to the whole trail with some great new additions and the return of some clear favourites of previous years.Congratulations to all the team for delivering such a super light show.
