Andy was recommended by my neighbour & I'm so glad we took her advice. At last, a proper plumber & heating engineer who doesn't do the sharp intake of breath whilst shaking his head when he looks at a job! Nothing was a problem, he worked quickly & neatly, was polite, pleasant, obviously very experienced and his price was very reasonable. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. Thanks for doing a great job Andy. You'll be the 1st person I'll ring for any future works. Top man!!

I had a problem with my heating and Andy was able to come round at short notice, work out the problem and return the same day with the new part. I was very impressed with his professional manner, client care and responsiveness and would highly recommend him to anyone needing heating or plumbing advice.

Our Boiler failed and we were unable to find a plumber that could do anything this side of Xmas, we were recommended to Andy at Avery Plumbing and he was a super star, he too was full right up to Xmas however if we did not mind him coming round and working nights to 11pm in freezing cold conditions he would have a new boiler installed in 4 days, this included running pipework from the kitchen to the garage as we changing from an old oil fired to a new Oil condenser boiler which required venting to an outside wall. During these 4 nights the temperature was around -3 Degrees, he would not accept any hot drinks, never complained, worked his socks off and got us back on line earlier than his anticipated. The quality of his work is outstanding, he worked in such a methodical way there was never any rubbish left anywhere, he could not be more helpful, understanding or caring. What a fantastic man he is we, a very special man and his final invoice was less than his estimate and an excellent price, others were estimating much more and mid January installation.

DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER.At first, everything seemed great. Andy turned up on time to assess our heating system, and gave what appeared to be professional advice. He recommended flushing our heating system with a chemical treatment, and would come back in a couple weeks to see if the system needed additional work. He even gave a reasonable quote.The next weekend we had a leak in the heating system, which we thought unrelated. We called Andy as an emergency, left multiple voicemails and texts. No replies.We had to call out other emergency plumbers who determined that a chemical flush was a dangerous procedure for any old system, risking leaks. This was confirmed by 2 other plumbers we got advice from subsequently.It cost us a lot to fix the leak. And we believe it was exposed due to Andy's work, but of course if he'd responded to our messages he might have been able to provide his perspective - which we were clearly willing to take.So in the end, Andy turned out to be too good to be true. In some way, thanks to his refusal to answer his phone to our polite messages, we feel like he did a deliberate hit and run for which I cannot think of a good motive.So avoid at all costs.Update 23rd December 2021 - still nothing from Andy. Want to give us a call, Andy?

I called Andy at Avery Plumbing mid-afternoon when I noticed a significant leak in the kitchen. Even though he was extremely busy, he made time at the end of his day, arriving at 7.30pm, to repair the pipe and leak. Andy was very courteous, straight forward and got the job done with a minimum of fuss at a very reasonable price. I'm more than happy to recommend him. I can see why he's in demand!

I received a clear quote for the work, and that is what I paid. This is despite the fact that they had to do some additional work repairing broken pipes caused by the recent freezing weather. They were very professional and did the work on time. I was very happy with the work. I will definitely use them again.

Andy is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his work. He is down to earth and very friendly. He managed to fix our central heating when it crashed by carrying out a power flush of the system. We suspected that we would need a new boiler (ours is 15 years old), but Andy's expertise and persistence meant he was able to get our heat and hot water back up and running without the need for a new boiler. He came to check our system the day after we contacted him, and performed the work for a very fair price. He clearly explained everything which we appreciated. We will certainly be contacting Andy in the future for any plumbing issues. We've been so impressed by him that we wouldn't consider going anywhere else!

Our plumber has retired and our boiler was not working, we were recommended Avery plumbing. We rang and left a message and got a call back very quickly. They were very responsive and great communication throughout the process.They came out the same day, in the evening, located the problem and managed to get the new part and came back after his already scheduled jobs the next evening to sort. Will definitely be using again.

Brilliance service from Andy Avery to fix our broken central heating. Initial visit to diagnose the problem and set up a temporary repair. Returned with spare parts within 24hrs to get the system up and running again. Can highly recommend. Thank you!

Andy was absolutely great when we had a boiler breakdown recently. It was one of the coldest weeks of the year and he was brilliant about finding the problem (broken flue), and sourcing a new one even though it was no longer being produced. And although he had other jobs on, he made the time to help us as we had no heating. Very pleasant to deal with. Definitely recommend.
