Skylight Fitters

We used Artin Skylight to replace a bespoke and leaking skylight installed by others with a proprietary Velux one, with blind. The survey was conducted quickly although I was initially hesitant about paying upfront for a survey. I did do my research in advance! Advance email correspondence was quick and accurate.The price was high but I wanted someone to both supply and install the skylight, remove the old one and modify the plinth to accommodate the new one. There are not many companies that will do this.On the day there was some confusion as to whether the existing plinth was to be stripped back but once I commented on it, it was addressed immediately. The team was very tidy and did an excellent job of finishing, including tidying up the inside where I was expecting to have to re-plaster (but didn't need to). Overall I thought this was an excellent job.

What a pleasure to have these guys, Artin Skylight, to attend to two old Velux windows that needed to be replaced. They told us when they were coming, came on time, did a professional job to a high standard and at a fair price. One small piece of the cowling was broken. We'd never had know but they highlighted it to us and replaced it at a future date when the replacement part had arrived. Honestly can't recommend this company highly enough. Thank you!

Very hard working team replaced a large and ancient Velux. Chose a white Pu coated Velux frame ... the price was high but the quality was amazing. Had to use scaffolding because new window too big to go up the stairs. The workmanship was excellent ..... the tiles and flashing all properly done. Customer service was good ... there was always someone available to discuss over phone or email. Would certainly use again.

Great service vs competitors, replaced an old GGL velux window at the top of our house. Some innovative thinking avoided the need for scaffolding, highly recommended.

We had an old, broken skylight window and wanted to replace it with a new Velux one. An email correspondence was prompt and soon got a quote and a fitting date. From the very beginning we knew that Artin window fitters were true professionals. They were wearing anti-Covid masks and before entering a house they put protective slip-on shoe covers. They then rolled the nylon cover up the stairs so that the carpet doesn't get dirty. They knocked out the old window and fitted a new one without a single scratch on the surrounding wall. Very professional, humble and honest men! Shame not more companies have people like them! Would definitely recommend them.

Very good work, very fast - all the work done in one day. The Skylight team were expert, efficient and really went the extra yard - hoovering up and making sure the gutters were clear, roof slates were ok, etc - I highly recommend them

We commissioned Skylight Fitters to change all our roof windows and asked them to install a new skylight a few months later. We had a lot of questions before installation which they patiently took time to answer giving us the confidence that they are experts in this. The installation was done very well, the guys were friendly and made sure to leave our home clean and dust-free. We had a small mix up on blind type which they came back to fix and when we reached out again about a minor issue months later they booked us in for an inspection and fixed the issue for us. We are really pleased with their work and would definitely recommend them.

Impressed by their website and previous reviews in reality Skylight Fitters were slow to respond to my emails. As requested by Artin I sent photo's of my pitched roof(front, rear and internal) but was given a incorrect quote of £1800 for a flat roof sky light when my email with photo's stated Pitched Roof" and expressed the necessity for a site survey as i'm not qualified or experienced enough to quote for trade I know nothing about? Artin didn't want to attend my property to survey the job unless I paid £80 for someone to come out

Feeeback is not based on quality of work as we never got to that stage as when I asked for a quote, they told me that they charge £100 for a site consultation. Provision of quotes is part of any supplier's risk. If you are good at what you do, you provide a reasonable cost and act professionally, then youbare bound to win work. If not, then you do what these guys do.. charge a fee to provide a quote.
