Seacliff Stables

I honestly cannot recommend these stables enough, the experience was first class from start to finish. Really made my daughter feel so comfortable on her very first time on a pony. She can’t wait to come back, also a special thank you to Wendy who spent the whole time with our daughter she was so professional and friendly.

A wonderful place to ride on the beach, in the sea or just out n about.Carol is an excellent host, and the horses are suited perfectly to the abilities or the rider....A truly fantastic experience, thank you 'Seacliff'

My daughter and I had an absolutely fabulous ride here today! We were lucky enough to get to canter across the beach which is something we’ve been dreaming of! Georgina was a fabulous guide and coach, we felt we were in very safe hands and our steeds (Magic and Bella) were amazing too!!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience at Seacliff Stables on May 14th, 2023. I am from Canada and this day was my 30th birthday and I was thrilled to be able to spend it in Scotland. I had a dream of being able to ride through the Scottish fields with my friends and this establishment delivered an incredible experience. From the ease of booking and payment, the guidance on their website on how to get there, to our horses (Danny, Bella and Bibi) and of course to our guide Wendy. She was truly a dream and was very patient with us. I was feeling a lack of confidence and was nervous as it was my first ride since I suffered a concussion at a riding lesson in October, and between the three of us we didn’t have a lot of experience, but she made sure we all felt safe and comfortable. My boy Danny was the best. The scenery was incredible, with a literal ocean and castle in the background as we rode. I cannot thank Wendy and Seacliff enough to making my birthday dream come true.

A great ride out - very welcoming and Wendy explained everything really well. We were a group of 6 of very mixed abilities and everyone had a wonderful time in a stunning place.

Horse riding in a truly beautiful location. The staff at the stables are very friendly and helpful (especially compared to a few others around Edinburgh. ) VERY recommended.

Really good stables, with friendly staff & ability to do the learning/practice stuff while out on a hack - what a difference! Will definitely go back! Please just bare in mind their cancellation policy is 48h.

Booked a horseback riding lesson back in May and it was truly the highlight of my entire trip to Scotland. Not only is the trail picturesque but I also had the opportunity to go down onto the beach. The owner and workers at the stables were incredibly kind, welcoming and just overall friendly, they taught me the history behind the stables, the horses and the area and it was a great way to connect with locals. I couldn’t recommend visiting the stables enough, this will definitely be one of the places I stop by next time I’m in Scotland.
