If timed wrong you can expect a long waiting time, but forklift drivers are helpfull

Had a classic car stored with them, best part about the company is Mitch the warehouse guy who's down to earth and the only human part of the business who actually knew what customer service was. Everyone else either doesnt give two hoots or hasnt got a clue.I had to chase them to setup a direct debit, I had to chase them to take a payment so there was at least some proof that my car was with them, after a few months still nothing, constant promise of being called and never was.3 months later, I get a one sentence email, yes EMAIL no phone call, saying I had 4 weeks to remove my car as they were shutting the site down, shortly followed by 4 months invoice which had the cheek to try and charge me for a month past when they wanted me out by.Needless to say I cancelled the direct debit as there was no way they were going to take more money than they were entitled to, going by the rest of their performance it would have taken me months to get the overpayment back or they would have just ignored my calls like all the others were.That email and that invoice was litterally the only communication i had with them apart from the warehouse guy.No communication, no professional courtesy, just a here is your bill get out, in the middle of winter with a classic car that has no windows and cant be left outside, knowing full well it's near impossible to find a car storage during this period in the area.Absolute shambles. I paid the bill I was suppose to pay and thankfully got the car out today. Wouldnt use this company to store my socks, let alone anything of value now.

Prior to today’s visit, it has proven difficult to speak to East Coast Self Storage after previously reserving our storage space, despite many phone calls attempting to make contact regarding an anticipated invoice email which we never received.The storage unit itself was perfectly fine, however the service we received was far from it. We had reserved our facility and were told to arrive when they opened at 8am today. Upon arrival, the staff inside didn’t open the door and began agitatedly gesturing for us to go somewhere else. After wondering around without any clear direction, we finally managed to speak to someone inside, who was incredibly rude and simply tried to get us to come back later. Eventually, she decided to try and help us, but sighed loudly, rolled her eyes and slammed down stationary throughout the entire interaction. Whilst we waited, the team could be heard loudly swearing during their own unprofessional conversations. When we finally were given the contract, our name, address and email address were spelt incorrectly, and the mobile number was a completely random one, meaning they would have no means of contacting us if needed. Throughout the entire visit, no apologies were given for the unprofessional attitudes or the errors which had occurred. The whole experience was very unpleasant and we certainly won’t be using them again in the future.
