I bought my suit in good time for my wedding for 1st July. Jez was nothing short of excellent. He gave a real personal touch each time I visited (which was a few times!) and helped me pick out the perfect suit/waistcoat/tie combo. The staff at Astares are absolutely amazing and I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a good quality suit. Thank you so much to Ruth and Jez for making a stressful process so easy and smooth.

Fantastic service by Jez, who was very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Really helped me in picking out the suits for me and my groomsmen and getting the right sizes and fits. The suits looked brilliant on the day.

Great professional guy who really enjoys his work. Really makes the effort to make you look great. Upper-class relaxed atmosphere. I went in for a wedding suit and I also bought a tuxedo for a cruise I was going on. Has tailored recommendations for alterations from different areas to get the final tailored finishes should this be required. Parking isn't ideal if you are lazy like me but worth the small walk to the carpark.

Amazing wedding suits, could not be happier with them. Great little store with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Suits were something I was nervous about choosing but with the help of Jez, it felt easy and enjoyable. We were so pleased with the outcome of our wedding attire for our special day, especially the suits. We came to Astares and were welcomed so warmly and the service was phenomenal. The person who helped us had a wealth of helpful information when it came to choosing the suits for my now husband and bridal party. from attention to detail, accessories, suit etiquette, finding the perfect fit, and helping us step out of our comfort zone; he was obviously very passionate about what he does and this is reflected in his work. He helped us find the suits that fit our wedding day perfectly.

I went Astares for mine and my best man’s wedding suits and I would very highly recommend them! Jez was fantastic! He’s incredibly easy to get along with as well being very knowledgeable on suit fitting and style.The shop has a very relaxed atmosphere and we were able to try on everything at our leisure, mixing and matching waistcoats, ties etc with Jez offering advice and options along the way to make sure colours matched and everything fitted absolutely perfectly. There’s such good range of suits too, so there’s something for everyone!Being an awkward size, I wanted something that fitted really well. Jez was very patient and persistent about getting the perfect fit and making sure I was 100% happy.Having this experience with Astares made the wedding day even better as I felt incredibly confident from having such a great suit!Overall, an amazing experience.10/10!

Amazing shop. Very easy to find it’s right on the street you can’t miss it. Both Ruth and Jezza are very friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk through the door. I first went with my son to buy him a suit for his prom. The suits in the shop are incredible and Jez helped us pick the best suit for my boy and he looked dapper for his prom. I loved the experience so much I went back a few weeks later for myself and bought a couple of amazing suit jackets, waistcoats and accessories. Honestly so grateful to have such an amazing shop in our area. We cannot thank or recommend Astares enough! Jez was so professional, knowledgeable and honest, and made the whole experience of wedding suit shopping completely stress-free! At no point did we feel rushed or pressured. The shop itself is so charming and everything is laid out brilliantly - there is so much choice but we didn’t once feel overwhelmed. My husband and all his groomsmen thoroughly enjoyed the experience and were so pleased with their suits. We lost count of the amount of compliments they received - they looked amazing!When I visited with my dad (who finds suit shopping a bit intimidating), Jez made him feel completely relaxed from the minute we walked in the shop.We would absolutely recommend Astares! We couldn't recommend Astares enough. We visited to just browse for my husbands wedding suit and have a look at options and were immediately made to feel welcome. After trying a few pieces on, my partner was undecisive. There was no pressure to buy and after a few weeks we returned to purchase his suit. Jez's knowledge, service and professionalism are second to none. He knew what size we would need, what alternations would need doing and recommended an excellent seamstress who could carry them out. Both times we visited, Jez made time for us even though the shop was busy and he welcomed any questions we had. My husband looked so smart on the day and we know we made the right choice using Astares. Jez and Ruth have created an experience shopping for your wedding suit feels special.

We purchased my husbands suit for our wedding from Astares.The service was far beyond anything we could have hoped for.
