Revolubes

I initially tried Revolubes when I received the sample size which I ordered. I was seriously impressed how well it performed so ordered the full size bottle. The only problem is the bottle, which has a pippet method of applying the lube, which takes ages and seems to use more lube than necessary and you have to constantly stop to refill the pippet. Even when you try to apply a small amount, more comes out. The sample size bottle is much better as you hold the bottle upside down and continuasly drip feed the chain. I also accidentally knocked the bottle over which meant I lost a fair bit of the lubricant. Expensive accident. Overall a great lube, just let down by the bottle and method of applying the lube.

Very happy with Revolubes™ Bike Chain Lube. It is easy to apply with the supplied pipette and lasts. It doesn't end up creating a black paste on your drivetrain in Winter and stays dust free in summer. Definitely worth the extra investment.

I’m very happy with the lube, I use it for all my 4 bikes, MTB and 3 road bikes, 2 are race bikes and I find it gives positive shifting. The lube doesn’t attract the dirt as much as other products I have used in the past and the chain looks clean again even after a ‘dirty’ ride just by running a cloth over it.

Did try squirt before revolubes and didn't get on with it, process with revolubes is so much easier, get chain nice and clean then start 1st layer. Then after that it's just reapplication. Last ages keeps chain clean and easy to maintain.

I use this lube on my road bike and have done for a few years now it just works.I’m now using it on my gravel bike and again it does a great job.It doesn’t pick up dirt and just a quick clean makes my chain shiny again.

I have used the lube for a couple of years and I am pleased with the results. I use the lube on my summer road bike. During the winter months I use my winter bike with a hot waxed chain, which takes more looking after especially on wetter rides but the chain ware is minimal. I noted recently that my own experience is supported by Zero Friction who independently test bike chains.My order was received quickly and the microfibre cloth & chain cleaner bath was a nice touch. I run Campag 12 Speed and the chain can’t be easily broken without a specific tool and replacement pin making removal of the chain a pain leaving no choice but to deep clean the chain on the bike. I would also wax the chain but it needs to be removed from the bike and as explained there is no removable link for this drivetrain.

Works amazingly well chain is dry and clean to touch but yet runs smooth and quiet- a bit of black magic from the Revolubes guys. Another great thing is if you have been out on wet dirty roads you just hose down the chain and give it a quick dry when you get home and you’re ready to go again with a nice clean chain. Love this stuff.

I’ve been using Revolubes on my road bike chain for a couple of years. I take the chain off the bike and clean it in white spirit or petrol. When it’s dry I put it back on the bike and lube each roller on each link using the dropper. Wipe the chain to get excess oil off and it’s ready. This will last for a few rides and the cassette and chain stays lubed and clean. In winter I have to clean the chain and lube more frequently as more dirt is attracted from the wet roads.In summary it keeps chain and cassette really clean in summer but needs a little more maintenance in winter. Still highly recommend it.
