I live in London and wanted to find a Drone Training School. After searching the internet and speaking to the various schools, Chris at Airborne Platforms gave me his time and reassurance, he thoroughly explained how the course worked and as I live in London, finding a location that was not too far from home was important. The theory part of the course was very comprehensive and thoroughly and easy to navigate. When I went to take my practical exam, Chris put me at ease and gave me all the time I needed. It flowed and the abilty to check knowledge along the way with built in questions and an online mock exam were the perfect balance.Not forgetting evening interactive sessions, specific to the subject matter, I have no hesitation in recommending Chris and the team at Airborne.This will be the first place I look for my next training requirement.

From the very start Chris was helpful with the course content and always there to answer any questions. I can not recommend the guys at Airborne enough. The training model was easy to get into and the support all the way through the course was nothing short of exceptional. Easy going expertise, delivered in just the right way for your own personal requirements. You just don’t get that 1-on-1 level of training / coaching nowadays, focusing on the individual end result, let alone for the price. Unlike other training providers I looked at, it quickly became apparent that Airborne are training you to be successful working in the drone industry, not just to pass a test. They genuinely care about the industry and the people they are looking after. Add to this, the community spirit built-on Facebook and weekly Zoom calls with other learners and graduates, it really is something special. Thank you to Chris & Denis especially. A well structured learning pathway with a very friendly and accommodating support team.I enjoyed the no pressure self marking process. Whilst it makes for a quiz type environment initially, easing you into the course, it reaffirms the learning and puts you in a good place for the critical assessments.Everyone in the team is really approachable and able to communicate their deep knowledge of the flying industry, especially UAS, and what’s required to help you progress.Overall it was a great process for me and I’d recommend Airborne Platforms UK to everyone.Richard W

This is the second time I have studied with the guys at Airborne, from my PfCO last year to the new A2 and GVC courses this year. After the experience last year, there was no doubt about whom I was going to do my GVC with. The courses are well structured but more than this, the support from Chris and the rest of the team is absolutely impeccable. These guys don’t just teach it, they live it, and it really comes through. They aren’t teaching you to pass a test - they are teaching you to be able to thrive in the industry.

Chris and all the team at Airborne Platforms have been great in helping me with my GVC course and subsequent PFCO Authorisation. I found the online course really intuative and the ability to use the portal to study a bit whenever I wanted to be useful fitting in and around everything else. Any problems or issues I had I got a fast response from Chris usually by a phone call to go through the issue and resolve super quickly. The weekly meeting sessions were a goldmine of information and great to be able to get Chris and Denis obvious expertise on problems that can come up I hadn't even thought of, they are both very knowledgeable and happy to help.When it came time for my practical, Mick and Chris were very encouraging and put me at ease quickly and it was quickly apparent that they had me as a student as their prime concern.Overall I would recommend Airborne Platforms to anyone looking for a course to fit around you with excellent friendly help and support whenever you need it.
