Eagle Rock Applecross Luxury Eco Lodge Sleeps 14

I can’t recommend Eagle Rock at Applecross enough - my friends and family are probably tired of my gloating! Entering the land at Eagle Rock feels like an absolute dream, as did my entire stay with Catherine and Ben. This is truly one of those magical places in the world that if you find yourself lucky enough to visit you will pinch yourself over and over again wondering if this life is possibly true. The pictures can’t do the views justice, but the highest pleasure of all is the hospitality shown by hosts, Catherine and Ben, taking care to make your experience as memorable and pleasurable as possible. Thank you, Catherine and Ben, for sharing your slice of heaven with us mortals.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Eagle Rock in Applecross, Scotland with a group of 11 people and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The rental house was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views of the water, mountains and surrounding countryside.But what really made our stay unforgettable was the amazing services delivered by Gerry, the chef who prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners for our large group, eliminating the need to cook and clean. The meals were expertly crafted and beautifully presented, and Gerry was able to accommodate all our dietary needs and preferences. He truly went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable.Catherine, the owner, was also extremely helpful and friendly, providing us with lots of information about the area and things to do during our stay. In the nearby town of Applecross, we enjoyed some of the best fish and chips we've ever had.Overall, I would highly recommend Eagle Rock for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation in Scotland. The property was immaculate, the location was unbeatable, and the services provided by Gerry the chef and Catherine the owner were exceptional. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

This place is pure magic! We ventured out for a friend birthday and It is well worth the journey to get there…you arrive in another world removed from everything…there you sit on the edge of the earth. Soaking up every ounce of its majestic glory…there is some powerful energy here And Cathrine is so much part of that. The first morning I wake up to a rainbow out over the ocean. Shortly there after we were greeted by Cathrine with her big smile and sparkling blue eyes inviting us for wild swimming. (Cold plunge in the north sea) I knew at that moment she was a soul sister and we had arrived in a truly magical place. She was such a wonderful host spending time with her and Ben were some of the highlights of the trip. There is so much amazing hiking and natural Beauty. The hot tub on the cliff is just delicious! The house is Beautiful and full of treasures from Cathrines travels as well as her art. I cannot say enough good things about this place other then you must go!

Eagle Rock at Applecross is an absolute gem, and was an amazing place for our whole family to congregate and enjoy the best that Scotland has to offer! The rooms are exquisitely decorated and so comfortable, and the views are breathtaking. Catherine was the perfect host, and helped our large family group make the most of our time, balancing seeing the nearby area and relaxing. Gerry's food was absolutely delicious! Cold plunge swims in the North Sea were the highlight of our trip, and will always be remembered! (along with relaxing in the hot tub afterwards). We are already looking forward to coming back someday!

Our family (6 adults/5-kids) recently stayed at Eagle Rock Applecross during our 2+ week tour of Scotland. In all honesty, Eagle Rock was the HIGHLIGHT of our trip. Catherine and Ben were gracious hosts who immediately made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Chef Gerry prepared AMAZING food for our family - an add-on" that was certainly worth every penny

What to say except amazing! I was there for the summer solstice, Catherine was a really great host, Gerry’s cooking was super good. The room I stayed in was beautiful with great view on the sea and gardenI felt so at home and cared for. It is a calm and luxurious place to stay. The house so well thought through, all the details, art piece from all other the world makes every room uniqueThank you Catherine

Absolutely loved my stay at Eagle Rock. The house, view and location of course were amazing, but what truly made me give this 5 star review is the hospital and energy of the hosts. Can’t recommend this place enough!!

I loved my stay at Eagle Rock in Apple across. I stayed in the stunning master bedroom that felt fit for a Viking Queen with its private bathroom and separate room for showering, bathtub included!The views from not only the bedroom but the whole house are of the stunning Loch and it is simply breathtaking.Our chef Gerry was kind, funny and accommodating and I felt very privileged to have him preparing our meals and answering all my questions.The owner of the establishment also acted as our tour guide around Apple Cross and I loved learning every little tidbit of trivia about the ancient landmarks, geology, and celtic ancestry of The Highlands.The owner even took us Wild Swimming in the mornings, after which we often liked to relax in the hot tub to reward ourselves while we sipped our breakfast coffee.I found my overall experience at Eagle Rock luxurious, authentic, accommodating, poignant, and even spiritual.I highly highly recommend this location for your Highland stay
