Walked in here with a very nice bottle of Scotch I needed a carrier for in order to take it on the plane in my luggage. The sweet man behind the counter popped off to get wrapping materials even though they didn’t have a carrier I could buy. He wrapped my bottle well and wouldn’t take payment! This is a shop the understands the value of good service for high quality product- even if it isn’t there’s. Well done.

Nice selection at a price, as you would expect. Open until 8 on a Saturday so good alternative to supermarkets. Have been twice and not been disappointed. Charming staff.

Vive le Vin!I bought a chilled bottle of Champagne via the website and had it delivered locally within 15 minutes. Callum was excellent and helpful. Tremendous service. Highly recommended. I cannot wait to visit the shop.

What a lovely shop! Really excellent, well thought through selection of wine; so you’re covered from the cheaper, weirder alt-natty end of things, up to classic French and Italian stuff that’s a couple of hundred quid. It’s intelligently laid out, with plenty of space so not overwhelming at all.Bonus points for smelling so nice (there’s an Aesop shop next door).
