Katumba drumming band wowed yet again at Thelwall Rose Queen both in the street procession and the arena performance. Excellent, music, costumes and performance all very stirring and professional.

Can thoroughly recommend. They are an amazing group of people, a real mix of ages, abilities, cultures and everyone is made to feel welcome. They take complete novices like me and teach new skills of drumming and movement, showing you're never too old to learn a new skill! Juliana also does yoga classes which I can highly recommend as she teaches the biological/medical reasons for the poses which maximises the benefit to you. The yoga classes are open to the public so check out the web site / Facebook page for more detail. A great family to be a part of.

Amazing fun loved the taster session. Would never have believed I could play in time with so many others within one session. The volunteers and teachers are so friendly and make you feel welcome x

At Formby Festival we use Katumba on our Carnival Day and they are fantastic. They are professional to deal with both prior and at the event. They bring a high energy level to the event, have never disappointed us and never cease to amaze us and our audience.Would recommend them to anyone looking for this type of attraction, you will not be disappointed and will want to use them again and again.

Juliana''s energy is so vibrant and welcoming, she's such a bright light, along with a brilliantly delivered and easy to follow online drumming taster workshop thanks to Richie's instructions left me feeling like I had learned something valuable whilst also having great fun and laughs during lockdown 3. Having beats running round my head instead of the usual Groundhog Day nonsense we're all living through is just invaluable - can't wait to do more with this exciting group! Brava!

We were fortunate to be on a cruise ship sailing out of Liverpool on 5th September. Katumba were on the quayside drumming us out. They were amazing, such energy and they looked like they were having great fun. It was a brilliant start to our cruise, and we would recommend them to everyone.

World class drummers that help the community's wellbeing. They have lots of workshops we're you can get involved not only with drumming but art activities yoga and many more. They put on an amazing Halloween Carnival in Liverpool which was truly fantastic
