Kingates Farm

We have stayed at Kingates Farm on 5 occasions since the start of the pandemic. It was the only way we could see our family on the Isle of Wight when out of lockdown and was just fantastic. Wonderful accommodation, hosts and facilities - we enjoy everything it has to offer.

This is our second stay at Kingates Farm and we will definitely be back. The cottage is so comfortable, the setting is perfect and the hosts Julie and Nigel go out of their way to make your stay relaxing. Our dogs love being here too!

Absolutely charming hostess, very accommodating, swimming in the pool, an exceptional treat. Quiet and peaceful location and very dog friendly. Staying in the shepherds hut, which in itself is amazing, everything you need and more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and our dog had a fabulous time. The accommodation is stylish, comfortable and well thought out, with everything we needed. A beautiful and peaceful setting, with lovely walks right on the doorstep and easy access to much more in the area. The hosts are great.

We have just spent a week at Kingates in the cottage. We took our two black labs with us and I don't know who enjoyed it most. Julie and Nigel are a super couple who have put an awful lot of thought into what makes for a perfect getaway, and it shows! The cottage was spotless, the quality linen made a very comfortable bed divine to sleep in. The towels are large, the plumbing excellent and the toiletries top notch. Logs are provided for the wood burner, and the welcome hamper was full of country goodies, including Julie's homemade jam. Doggie beds, treats and large water bowl on hand for travel weary pooches...and they are allowed on the throw covered sofa for snuggles! The large enclosed paddock in addition to the garden area attached to the cottage ensured early morning walks were stress free, before heading out to local towns and beaches. We can't recommend too highly.

We have just got home from staying for a week at The Stables Kingates Farm, a wonderful place to stay, beautiful surroundings, fantastic accommodation, and super dog friendly, booked our stay for next year before we left.

We just returned from a 4 night stay at the Shepards Hut and had the best time! The accommodation was so well thought out, we were amazed at how cleverly designed everything was! The outside space was perfect for BBQs and star gazing - we are hoping to come back in the winter and make use of the log burner and the fire pit! I will be recommending to friends and family, and we will be back! Thank you :)

This is a fantastic place to stay. The perfect home from home. It is absolutely beautiful, so welcoming and friendly. They seriously can't do enough for you and your dog's. Will not consider staying anywhere else on the island.

2nd visit and this time we stayed in The Stables, thanks to Julie and Nigel for creating a wonderful place. The perfect location for a relaxing holiday with every detail thought about. We loved the fact that you can fall into the biggest bed with the softest bedding and the fluffiest towels after a soak in the bath or the hot tub. The kitchen is well equipped and the welcome hamper is full of lovely goodies. Great walks, pubs and beaches nearby and if you have dogs ( we took our two) they will love the location as well. I don’t think we have been this relaxed for ages. Thanks and highly recommended Lee, Mike, Harley and Wanda.
