It’s been a while since we have tasted a good curry in Peterborough. We went with the recommendations of Fazz and they did not disappoint! Our favourite was the lamb chop curry and the charsi karai.Fazz went over and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met.The food was authentic and delicious so much so that we were still talking about how good the food was even after leaving the restaurant.What a wonderful experience!

Finally some authentic great tasting food in Peterborough. I ordrered lamb charsi and malai boti to take away..delicious taste and will defintely come in again to try other items on menu..10 out of 10 for taste..generous portion sizes too..

It's going to be a long one but believe me read this review and it will be worth it.Service 10/10Chef is actually a proper chef (not a commis chef which every place in Peterborough employs and think is a proper chef ) 10/10Peterborough, has been lacking a place which serves a proper curry, and Sanas Restaurant has set a new standard, I got a lamb balti and it actually tasted like one, you could taste the spices the meat was succulent, the sauce was thick and they didn't cheap out on the ingredients it had actual bullet chilli's and fresh tomatoes, unlike many places in PETERBOROUGH where it is, the same sauce used for chicken and lamb and the meat is dry so it feels like you're chewing some Wrigleys chewing gum. Order it and believe me, you will see what I mean by new standards.I also got a mixed grill, and for the first time in this city it was a proper mixed grill with meat kebab, chicken kebabs, chops, and pieces of chicken on the bone not your run of the mill ones you get which has one kebab sheep chops with more fat than meat, and chicken breast with red food colouring meant to pass off as chicken Tikka.This place isn't just another curry house in Peterborough, it's a proper curry house something that was lacking in this city.Try it and you won't be disappointed. This place has set the bar high.

First time trying this place. Excellent tava shared between 4. One of the few places (first locally) where everything on the tava was fresh and tasty. Hope you be back soon.

Well finally managed to get to try , wow we had the tava for 2 , it was amazing, come to the table piping hot freshly cooked , served on a sizzling platter with a choice of 2 curries also , onions chips , lamb chops , lamb shish, chicken cooked various ways , masala fish , freshly cut salad platter to accompany also choice of drink, freshly cooked bread served piping hot outstanding , spotlessly clean throughout would definitely recommend friends, family , work whatever the occasion the staff were smart in appearance and excellent service throughout visit

Freshness at Its Best - Really ImpressedI had dinner at Sanas Restaurant last night and it was amazing!. I was there as one cab driver recommended it, Usually Cab drivers know the best places to eat , so I thought to give it a go.Right when you walk in, there's a cozy vibe that makes you feel at home. The place has a great buzz about it and it’s decorated in a way that’s both stylish and inviting. Moreover the Owner Faz and the Staff are so polite and welcoming that you feel like home.Now, the food - because that’s the real star of the show. Everything we ordered tasted like it was made with super fresh ingredients. You could tell that they use the good stuff here. We had a Kebab and Lamb Balti, that was packed with flavours that were bright and really popped. It has really authentic taste, something only available back home.The Lamb Balti and Chicken was the highlight. You could tell that there was a lot of care put into not just how it tasted, but how it was presented, too. It's clear that the chef knows what they’re doing and they’re not just churning out the same old thing.The service was spot on as well. The staff were friendly, knew the menu inside and out, and they kept everything moving without making us feel rushed.All in all, if you’re after some really fresh, delicious food and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, you’ve got to check out Sanas.
