The type of the survey they did for us (home movers report) was comprehensive, with a lot of useful information, advise and tips. Professional company, speedy service and the report provided was detailed, thorough, written in plain English so that I could understand it easily without knowledge of buildings. The report included lots of colour photographs highlighting the various issues so it made perfect sense and I could see what the descriptive report was referring to. The team in the office were friendly, professional and easy to deal with. The Surveyor returned my call and was happy to answer my questions and I was confident that I knew what I was letting myself in for with the house purchase. Excellent! I first used Charters-Reid about 8 years ago to do a full dilapidations report on my Industrial Units, the report was very clear, detailed, factual and good photo's. The office were very helpful and always on hand to deal with any queries I had. I have since used Charters-Reid for surveys on residential properties and have been equally delighted in their competent way of reporting. I would definitely highly recommend JCR, a friendly, honest good Yorkshire Surveyer.
