Quirky Campers - Campervan Hire

We explore the Isle of Arran and the Argyll and Bute area of Scotland in Django. The van has everything you need for your roadtrip and plenty of storage which is something you don’t often get in campers. The bed was comfortable and it was handy having the toilet and shower. We had a little trouble working out the heating system but Rob and Linda were on hand to answer as queries with had with the van. We would highly recommend Django.

First time hiring a Campervan and we cannot recommend Brown Bird and Company enough. The van we hired, Chamonix, was beautiful and every minor detail was catered for. We couldn't have asked for a better first time experience off grid on the road. The van had everything you could think of and some things you wouldn't think of, making the experience all the more relaxing. It was amazing having our very own home on wheels and we took to it fast! So much so, we were sad to return the van to her owners! Definitely recommend. Pick up and drop off was effortless - although, we probably kept the owners talking longer than usual. They were super friendly and informative. Will be using again!

Brilliant week’s campervanning in the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District! We are a family of 4 (kids aged 7 and 4) and Mo was perfect for us. Beds were really comfy, toilet was very handy and being off grid made things super flexible. We didn’t use heating as it was summer but this would be great for a winter break. Thanks so much to Danielle and Andrew for sharing Mo with us - handover and service was all-round excellent. We’d heartily recommend!

Mango you were amazing. Such a lovely well thought out conversation 3 days of sub zero temperature in the Yorkshire dales and it felt like a tropical oasis in there at night. Everything you could possibly need is provided. "

We took Mango to the Glastonbury Festival in June 2023. She is great to drive and we found her surprising economical on fuel for a vehicle of her size. We were completely off grid power wise and managed without having to run the engine to top up her power albeit it was sunny every day! There is plenty of room for 2 and she is comfortable with most of the bits and bobs you need provided with her. The handover was great with everything explained fully and Nev, the owner, was on hand via WhatsApp on a couple of occasions when we needed to ask/clarify something. Having a hot shower and your own toilet at Glastonbury is a big plus :0)

We loved Orla! We took her to Camper Calling festival in Warwickshire and had the best weekend. Kids really loved the sleeping pods and we all slept well. It was more spacious than I expected

We had an incredible week in Cornwall driving with Mo! We were a group of 4 friends (2 couples) and found the van to have lots of space for us all with all the convenience of home in the form of a small kitchen, living area in the day with two sofa benches and big table which turns into two big bunks at night and a toilet. Assembling the beds was super easy and it was brilliant to pack up and drive somewhere new each day. After seeing some breathtaking places in Cornwall we really didn't want to drop her back off! If you fancy sitting having a cup of tea in comfort with the doors wide open looking out at a stunning view don't hesitate to book. Danielle and Andrew were so helpful and lovely we really couldn't have asked for more :)
