Donald has been such a pleasure to deal with. From the moment of first contact he has given professional, cheerful, kind, thoughtful and sensible advice in relation to the provision of a rise and recline chair for my mum. He was sensitive and kind with my mum and exceptionally helpful throughout. I highly recommend Galashiels Mobility.

On holiday and husband's electric buggy got a puncture. Phoned this company and Donald said to bring wheel to him and he would do his best to repair it as his shop was closed the following day (Saturday) for the town's gala day. He had to put a new inner tube in tyre. Thankyou Donald, you saved husband's holiday.

Just taken possession of my first ever mobility scooter. Donald brought the scooter I thought would best suit my needs to my home town for a demo. He patiently walked me through its use, assembly and disassembly, then answered every question I posed him.More than that, he was very personable and exuded a confidence clearly based on a great deal of experience. I felt all along, right from our very first (and prompt) contact by email, that I was going to be in good hands, and so it has proved. I have no hesitation in recommending that you contact Galashiels Mobility for any mobility scooter advice/sales/service.

Urgently needed crutches for my wife’s twisted knee, as she couldn’t walk. Rang late in afternoon and man kept shop open whilst we drove from Peebles and sorted her some crutches. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Excellent

Recently purchased a scooter from Donald and after being to a few shops prior to getting in touch with Galashiels Mobility I have to say what a pleasure to get advice that was right for me and not about a shop making money.Donald asked lots of questions about why I wanted a scooter, discussed my mobility issues and took me through all the options.Within 48hrs I had tested my options and had a brand new scooter delivered to me.Would highly recommend Galashiels MobilityJohn.

I have given 5 stars but wish I could give more. Donald has recently gone over and above to help with a palliative client of mine to give him his final wishes. Donald supplied a wonderful tilt and recline armchair, visiting with the gentleman in hospital to make sure it met a with the OT's criteria. Then to meet with the the gentleman's final wish Donald again, ensuring all medical needs were met, supplied an amazing electric wheelchair which was modified and adapted to meet the clients needs. He was amazingly friendly and kind during the very short time I needed these aids to ensure the clients wishes came true and in comfort. Again this company is amazing and I for one would encourage anybody that needs help to contact Donald and he will go out of his way to ensure your needs are met and the aftercare is also appreciated. Thank you for all of your help, kindness, support and all of the extra effort you put in to helping your clients, 5+ stars given for an outstanding service.

Donald was very quick to carry out whatever I had asked before and since my purchase of of an excellent mobility scooter from him. His customer service and excellent knowledge and experience of mobility scooters and the market for them was extremely helpful and gave methe confidence in deciding to buy the scooter. I can only agree with all of the reviewers already posted on the website.
