From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor and the bespoke artwork beautifully reflected the rich Ukrainian culture, creating a cosy and authentic ambiance. The menu truly showcased the best of Ukrainian cuisine. Each dish was a delightful combination of flavours and textures that transported me to the heart of Ukraine. The varenyky, stuffed with black pudding, were perfectly cooked and simply melt-in-your-mouth.The staff at Mriya were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the dishes and offered excellent recommendations based on our preferences. The service was prompt and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.Furthermore, the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of our visit. From the beautifully presented plates to the carefully selected music in the background, Mriya created an immersive dining experience that went beyond just a meal. The restaurant's commitment to quality and authenticity was truly commendable.Overall, Mriya is a hidden gem in London, offering a delightful Ukrainian culinary journey. Whether you are a Ukrainian cuisine enthusiast or simply looking to explore new culinary experiences, Mriya is a must-visit destination. I cannot recommend it highly enough - it's an experience that will leave you craving for more.

These guys deserved a Michelin star last year: food was tasty and elegant, portions are reasonable. Service is discreet, venue is warm and cozy. Mid-high prices but you can go for the varenyky if you want to save a few quid. The most recent visit was less remarkable: many dishes sold out, 'crispy' potatoes with red mullet were actually standard baby ones, dark bread with borscht instead of pampuskas.Reservations via OpenTable, subject to 20 pounds per head deposit, refunded when you pay the bill.

This was our first time in London and we decided to cap off our trip with a dinner here. It was easily one of the best meals we had on our trip! Traditional and modernized Ukrainian cuisine. The borshch and the duck varenyky are excellent, as are the seasonal cherry varenyky for dessert.

We had a lovely evening of great food, nice wine, and excellent service. It is the first time I have had a high end Ukrainian meal, but I have fond memories of my mum's and Baba's (grandma) home made Ukrainian food. This was certainly different from those simple meals and it was thoroughly enjoyable from beginning to end. The 'Odessa Black' wine was full bodied and tasty, the varenyky dumplings were beautifully made and presented, and the beef cheek stew was tender and lightly spiced.Highly recommended for something a bit different and a pleasant evening.

We enjoyed tasting Ukrainian dishes with a modern twist. Borch and pelmeni were delicious. Golubci was not very traditional but rather a chefs take. Was really looking forward to the cake, but it turned out a little too heavy on butter in the cream, still enjoyable. Beautiful modern interior with a small garden outside, very good location and near the station, Lovely ladies served us. Would come back to try other dishes.

Being Ukrainian I could say that the food is very delicious. Feels like back in home. Stuff is very welcomed and speaking both English and Ukrainian. You can find a menu in both languages as well. It’s a tiny place with just a few tables but still worth to visit.

If you’ve never had any version of Ukrainian food, check Mriya out. Upscale Ukrainian food with a great atmosphere both inside and out. The servers are attentive and provide great recommendations. The borsch is my favorite, simple yet intricate. Better than my mamas and my babas, but I won’t tell them. Thank you for a wonderful experience every since time.

A nice if pricey spot for upscaled Ukrainian food. I am not a huge fan of Eastern European cuisine but was excited to try Ukrainian food for the first time. Some of the dishes was super yummy - the borsch, varenyky, chicken Kyiv, and honey cake were great, and the cocktail menu is fun and innovative. That said, almost every dish had a fault that stopped it one step short of excellence - the salted fish and rösti dish was too salty, the sorbet in the tomato salad too icy, and the chicken Kyiv needed a touch more sauce. Service was likewise inconsistent - one of our servers was delightful, happy to recommend dishes, and attentive; the other was unsmiling, silent, and didn’t pay any attention to us at all. Combined with a very hefty check at the end, it left us with a slightly bitter taste in our mouths; it just didn’t feel special enough for what we paid. That said, if you’re a fan of Ukrainian food and want to try a modern take on it, I definitely recommend Mriya. And it’s always great to support an independent Ukrainian business in these trying times!
