SUPsect – SUP South Essex Club & Tuition

This is the 2nd person in family to have a lesson. One lesson was a gift voucher purchased for Xmas. Easy to book lessons on SUPsect website - with dates and time to suit. Another brilliant lesson with Dunc. Very informative, patient and great manner (both lessons for nervous and new to paddling users - both of us can stand and paddle due to great instructor ). Very generous with time and not out to just take your money. Great guy and willing to advise after lessons. No connection to Dunc or SUPsect - highly recommend. Thank you Dunc.

Had a brilliant beginners lesson with Duncan yesterday, would thoroughly recommend. Such a lovely chap, very warm, knowledgeable, encouraging, and took away any initial nerves anyone had before hitting the water. I'm so glad I did a lesson, so I can build from the foundation of proper technique. I now have much more confidence and can't wait to get back out on the water. Thank you!

I had a fabulous afternoon with SUPsect. Duncan and Ian (called E) were great trainers, explaining everything in detail and taking great care on what we did. It was great fun, and for my first paddle board lesson, I learnt a tremendous amount. Loads of help, with no pressure, and to top it all, I didn't fall in the water, nearly did twice, but managed to stay on the board. I highly recommend this company to take you through the baby steps and no doubt on to much more. Really enjoyed my paddle board session with Dunc and 3 other lovely people this morning. Having had a couple of goes on holiday I wanted a session for more information and to teach me how to do things properly. The session was everything I was hoping for and more. Dunc is extremely informative and professional whilst also being friendly, supportive and encouraging. I would thoroughly recommend SUPsect if you’re a beginner or if you want to hone your skills and knowledge

Duncan was friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the sport. Given I already paddle a little, he was able to tailor the lesson to the level I was at with lots of tips and tricks to improve the efficiency of my paddling. He also ran through some race and surf theories with guided practical demonstrations to reinforce the techniques. Highly recommended for newbies and more experienced paddlers alike!

We had a family paddle board lesson with Dunc from SUPsect yesterday. Everything was perfect from booking onwards. The pre-arrival information, the introduction on the day, and the instructions on the water were at the right level for us as complete beginners. We thoroughly enjoyed it and managed to stay on the boards, just!

I had a fantastic BSUPA Level 1 - Ready to Ride lesson with Dunc. I opted for a private lesson as I was a bit anxious about my first time out on my own board. From the moment we met, Dunc put my mind at ease and I had a great time learning how to SUP safely.
