When we contacted Avomech we were very impressed with the knowledge that Richard has ensuring that our steel work was fabricated to the correct standards. I could not have had a more positive experience of purchasing fabricated steels from Avomech! I purchased 3 steel beams and a fabricated column to remove two walls and a chimney breast to open up my kitchen dinner into one large room with bifolds at the end. Rich went out of his way during a very difficult time (beginning of COVID-19 lockdown) to get the steels to me and he also very quickly helped us to modify one of the steels following building inspector requests. I can't thank him enough and would recommend Avomech to anyone looking to purchase steels or to have steels fabricated. I also found their pricing to be very competitive and just a generally pleasant purchasing experience.

All round excellence! Company was very professional and helpful. Steels were faultless, they arrived at exactly the stated time. The driver was exceptional, he navigated a narrow lane in reverse with 10m steels on the truck bed and craned them straight into position without so much as a hiccough. Used Avomech for the supply of the structural steelwork for our residential renovation and extension work. They provided an excellent reliable service at a competitive price, provided knowledgeable and friendly advice throughout and worked closely with the installers (who they recommended) to ensure the site installation went smoothly. Would definitely use again.

Needed an rsj for bifold door opening. Rang Avomech and explained what the structural engineer had said we needed (extra flat plate welded to the top) they drew a picture and sent back to us to confirm all was correct. Manufactured the steel and delivered it to us with no fuss. Very easy and helpful. Would use again.
