I have had another great experience with Carter Jonas. Great communication. Once as a tenant now as a landlord. Have recommended to family and friends who are also pleased with their great level of service.

Terrible customer service for tenants. Hidden fees everywhere, rude staff and contradictory emails that mean you spend weeks trying to figure out where you stand. If you're going to spend all that money renting in Cambridge, you might as well pay a decent estate agent and not Carter Jonas.

Do not trust Carter Jonas! We were misled trying to buy a proporty from them. Just got out on time, before becoming involved in shady transaction.

They will find poor excuses to not show you the houses and will not even make an effort to deny that it is your non-English name putting you at the bottom of the list.

Carter Jonas Bradshaw in Cambridge are one of the larger estate agents operating in the area. With many properties managed and let by Carter Jonas you will more than likely come across them when looking to rent.However, do not haste to let through this agency. The lack of respect, the lack of effort, and the incredibly poor service experienced by this agency has left a sour experience in my mind. Avoid this agency if you can, they are by far the single worst experience I have ever had with estate agents.

Avoid Carter Jonas. They seem to have a toxic view towards renters. This leads to an abysmal customer service. Landlords beware, the house I live in is wonderful and nonetheless I will be leaving so as to avoid interactions with this estate agency

Initially fine during a 12 month tenancy. Had mould downstairs to which they had some painters come out and paint over!? Was bottom floor of 3 level home, did not investigate furtherWhen moving out, they tried to keep almost our entire deposit (over £1500). They claimed garden was not tidy, which we rectified by coming back to clean, but still billed us for it as well as general cleaning fee.Do not even bother trying to reason with this group, we attempted to resolve the situation amicably however their junior property manager did not budge. Her lack of customer care and experience was clearly evident. She even tried to bill us for generic carpet cleaning even though making carpet cleaning a formal requirement in contracts, if no damage has occurred, has been made illegal in the UK.Went to tenancy deposit scheme tribunal and got almost the full amount back. For anyone reading this and they feel as though Carter Jonas is trying to keep more of their deposit than they deserve, go through the tribunal. It is what it is there for. If you clearly lay out your evidence they at least will be reasonable.

Worst estate agency we have ever dealt with. We rented a let-only property, but still had to pay ridiculous check-in and check-out fees when we were not even 'invited' to the check-in and or the check-out. In a dispute with the owner at the end of our tenancy we did not have a chance to make our case since they were (obviously) on the side of the owner.

Good communications and helpfulness, very professional especially in the light of our having to deal with a difficult buyer

Carter Jonas customer service is poor and neglecting. There property management is terrible and inefficient. Their communication skills are awful. Do not water your time and money with them.
