Beards Blinds & Awnings

Thanks to Julie, Alan and the superb fitting team we now have 2 beautiful awnings fitted, one to the house and one to my fathers annexe in the garden. Great service from Julie at the Long Acres show room, offering a huge range of options, we would have been very confused without her guidance. Alan surveyed the site and gave us excellent advice on how to attatch the cassette to the annexe. Delivery and fitting were carried out when stated and the team worked really quickly and efficiently and left the site beautifully clear and tidy. Overall a brilliant experience and we would thoroughly recommend Beards Blinds.Thank you all.

Extremely happy with my awning. Julie, Alan and the team were superb helping me make decisions through the buying process. They couldn't have been more helpful. I wanted to fit lights into the blanking bar rather than pay stupid money for them pre-installed by the manufacturer. They hadn't seen this being done before but were very supportive, giving me all the information I needed and dropping the awning off in advance of the install to give me time to do the work. In the end the lights are perfect. Due to a delay on another job my awning didn't get installed on the day I was expecting but Alan and his team came the next day, late afternoon and worked while it got dark to complete my installation. Beards are really straightforward to deal with. Having decided to go with them and had measurements done, we went to their showroom to check the types of awning we were having (it's the main one they have installed there) and to look at materials and paint finish. They agreed the installation date well in advance, and the installers were friendly and helpful. And we're really happy with the result.

Julie, Alan and the team were really helpful in organising my new awnings. They helped recommend the most appropriate system for my home, and the home survey helped with the exact specification of the bespoke wall brackets needed to squeeze the awnings between my sliding doors and rainwater pipes. Those parts were reasonably priced but are essential to get right. Communication was always super clear and the team were reliable and came to instal on the agreed date. Outstanding service from the team. I had them fit a 7m x4m blind for me in Feb and naturally it has proved invaluable for our west facing patio. Prices are competitive and they really know their stuff. We had the Kubata blind fitted which has a box profile and looks very very discrete and also acts as an overhang too. Very happy with them and I have been recommending them to all my neighbours.

Very very pleased with this company. Extremely efficient communications always within a day. Both the surveyor on site visit and the showroom display manager were very informative and extremely patient - they took a long time going through the options, choices and brands. We ordered a 6m Weinor awning. It arrived on the exact day and time it was scheduled for which had been notified well in advance. The fitters were courteous, neat and tidy and highly professional. Interestingly it replaced an old awning and we got a quote from the original company for the identical product and the total was £400 more... I would thoroughly recommend this company, we were very impressed with service and quality.
