Firmin & Co

Had the misfortune of dealing with this cowboy company last year. Very unprofessional. Always late to do viewings. Even send fake people to view your house too who are actually other estate agents. This was admitted to me! Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy wasting your time. We sold about 10 times but every single one fell through because they do not check them before sending them to view the house! Ps if you try to leave them they will make you wait a month before you can go up with anyone else so beware of the contract you are signing!

I'm in two minds about posting this, as they were friendly and polite, but also dropped the ball and cost us a lot of money.We went to see a property sold by Firmin & Co, and were shown around by the (then) director (who has since left). She was lovely and helpful, and we put an offer in. The offer was accepted. That's where the pleasant service ended.We were then basically ghosted. We called every few weeks to find out what was going on, and they had no new news. The seller could not (or would not) find a place to buy, so we waited. Sometimes months without any call or email. I explained to the agent that we were getting anxious, and asked her to keep us informed on a regular basis, which she promised to do. We explained our concerns about finding a school for our son (with special needs) and the urgency of moving to Peterborough, she said she understood and would keep us informed. Still no regular contact from them.It was about 7 months later when we offered on another house, and pulled the offer from this one. No apology from Firmin & Co, we were simply told that they didn't blame us".The problem is that this delay cost us stamp duty (there was a holiday on when we put the offer in

Firmin & Co Werrington recently sold our property in Hythegate, Werrington - the process only took 2 weeks and at all times we received a professional and prompt service from Mia and her team. As a result of the quick sale we were able to move to the property we wanted and which we are now enjoying. Thank you to all concerned - highly recommended.

Firmin and Co were the most active in getting viewings, out of all the agents we marketed our property with and we finally sold our property through Firmin. During the sale process they kept us up to date via weekly emails. I would recommend Firmin and Co.

Put an offer in that was accepted. They then sold to somebody else and didn't let us know until we called them (it had been sold 3 weeks at this point). Person on the phone said We only have a responsibility to the sellers

It wouldn't be doing them justice to say Firmin & Co Werrington are the best, in my view they're the only ones who are any good. If buying you don't have much choice, if selling, avoid the sharks and vultures of national chains and use an independent local HONEST agent you can trust. Sadly our sale/purchase didn't complete due to the underhand antics of another agent, but thanks to Bren, Karen, Dan and Lee for your help anyway.
