The most interesting people I've met since our visit within the area. Could have spent hours with them. Bought a few keepsakes and found new friends. You'd never get another item from in there elsewhere so easily. Nice one Mike. The dogs can't wait to stay with you next year

Nestled in the charming, atmospheric old town of Bishops Castle, 'Empires and Eagles' is a wonderful spot for lovers of antiques, militaria, books, bric a brac, jewellery, or novelties from bygone eras.An old world shop with vintage music within the ambience, it is a virtual 'Alladin's Cave' of pre war history.I have bought ornamental walking canes, antique whistles, bells, World War 1 artefacts and many fine, quality items. The proprietors are knowledgeable and very helpful, even sourcing items at request.Have a nice day out in Bishops Castle, with specialist shops, boutique cafes, fine pubs and sandwich bars.
