love my bike, took it to another shop where they changed the chain. this wasn't correctly aligned as gears slipped afterwards. I did not want to return as worried what else they would damageThen I got a puncture and jays is within walking distance. He mended my puncture quickly efficiently and at a fair price, and when he put the chain back on he obviously knew how to realign the gears.........no slipping nowVery pleased would def recommend

Took my partners sons bike in to get checked over as it had been in a accident and needed some work done to it.... He done a very nice job. Fixed it all and cleaned it when we picked it up it looked like a new bike. Alot cheaper then halfords too..Will definitely recommend this shop and will use again when needed

I popped in with my Mum and Dad with an inquiry, and the owner, Jay, was a treasure trove of information, and gave lots of very valuable advice. He was very welcoming, friendly, insightful and spent his own valuable time, which before we walked in was being used to repair a bicycle, to help out. We walked away saying to each other what a lovely man he was, and if we ever needed anything to do with bicyles we had found our man! Thank you, Jay. Your valuable time spent on helping us was very appreciated.

Brought in my friends daughter’s bike because the bike wouldn’t change gear - another kid has crashed into the bike and bent a gear mechanism on the rear wheel. Brought the bike in as soon as the shop opened (because my friends daughter had a Cycling Proficiency Test at school at 1pm that day) and Jay started work on it immediately and fixed it by midday. He saved my friend about £80 by taking off the part, heating it and reforming it rather than replacing it and also gave the bike a once-over since it had been set up incorrectly by the employee at large bike retailer my friend bought it from. Couldn’t be more impressed with the service and workmanship - there is no way it would have been fixed that quickly at one of the larger retailers and it would have cost four or five times the amount. Will be bringing my own kids bikes in now for an MOT. Great local business.

A fantastic Service. I have never used Jayz before for my bike but thought I would try it after all the good reviews. I was very impressed with the results; great repair job, done quickly & effortlessly and the price was great too.

Hi, just want to say a massive shout out to Jay who is now officially my daughter’s hero. She recently brought some wheels to the cost of ~£100 & whilst attaching them on her skates one of them became wedged midway along the axle & wouldn’t budge. We tried many times with our skate tool unsuccessfully to get them off but to no avail. I initially went to a hardware store for advice who suggested I try a bike store which is where Jay came in and literally saved the day. Even though it wasn’t a bike problem, he was happy to offer his assistance & literally spent about 30 minutes solving the conundrum & got the wheel off. My daughter & myself are really grateful & really appreciate your effort. Thanks again & keep up the good work

Took the bike in to get a rear-wheel puncture fixed and Jay identified the cause of it which I’d missed when I tried to fix it myself. Friendly, knowledgeable guy, and a very reasonable price and turnaround.
