Castle Veterinary Group - Framlingham

We have been with Castle vets for nearly 40 years, with them caring for our adorable pets, but over the last couple of years we have been disappointed that when going to visit they is always a different vet.But the crunch came 3 weeks ago when taking to the vets our 9 year old fully vaccinated healthy GSD when he seemed to have a cough.Was told his chest and lungs were clear and his panting was probably due to him being at the vets, and being told he probably had kennel cough but he has never been near a Kennel or any other dog and was given anti inflammatory medicine.2 days later we had to rush him to Melton where died four hours later with in so much fluid on his lungs.Absolutely broken heart doesn’t even cover how we feelWHY?????????

My mischievous dog was brought here by a kind lady after running off. When I picked her up, I was welcomed by a truly lovely team who looked after my dog so well. You could tell they genuinely cared. I'll be returning, on a more planned basis next time!

Castle Vets looked after my cat with a massive painful abcess on his tail during lockdown in a safe, professional manner, got me an appointment right away and followed up with another treatment until he is now recovered. Friendly, organised and helpful staff. absolutely terrific

Not my normal vets but used during covid-19 to have a bunny boy neutered. They were fantastic especially the person on reception. She was so pleasant and helpful and a joy to talk to. Thanks for all your help

I do not need medical advice from a receptionist nor condescending conversation from a nurse. When I am expected to pay over £1,500 for a small cyst removal I expect professional advice - I have now changed vets and been charged less than half this. Rude, unpleasant and extortionately expensive. Steer clear.

Not my normal vets. Had excellent service all staff so friendly. Had an appointment for my cat within the hour of ringing up. Would be happy to use this vets again.

I am a little disappointed. I took my Springer Spaniel in for a check up because of stiffness in her legs due to arthritis I’d put it down to, she is nearly 10. I asked to weigh my dog at the Receptionist desk firstly, then the Vet to check her heart out as well.It was very expensive and a added fee of £18.00 for a two month repeat prescription for pain relief. The whole cost was over £160.00

I cannot recommend castle vets more. They have been absolutely amazing today and took care of our two dogs that were brutally attacked by two lurchers. We still don't know how well they will recover from the attack but do know that castle vets have done everything they can to give them the best chance. Thank you so much x
