Trafford Watersports Centre, Manchester

Great time had by me and my son (13). He paddle-boarded, I kayaked. Lovely friendly girl on reception and great staff member on the water side. Really helpful and fun. Thanks we’ll be back again soon.

The staff were excellent and the raft building and Mega SUB was great fun. Only negitive part was the classroom we used in the morning was not really fit for purpose for presentaiton as there were no blinds and the screen was just a whiteboard so hard to deliver some key messages to team. Instructors were great and catered for all abilities in our group.

Recently attended a powerboat level 2 course at the trafford watersports centre. Debs, our instructor, was great, really put us at ease and made the 2 day process fun and easy. She was very patient with us! The centre facilities were good and clean as well from what i saw which is great

Friendly staff. Myself and my two daughters with one Instructor.Good value for money. Both the lady at reception and our Instructor made us feel at ease and gave us all the information needed. Thank you for a great introduction to paddle boarding. We will be back to try kayaking.

Took our Kayaks for a couple of hours for myself and daughter to have a bit of fun. What a great place, everyone who was there was very friendly, had a brilliant time on the lake. Afterwards went and watched the scouts with there cardboard boats they had made, there was that many different boats and was amazed at how well they all did. Had some burgers and a drink to round our day off. A brilliant day had by all.

Great first session with Rachael and introduction to paddle boarding. The class was one hour and was shown the basics of using the paddles - session built up to be able to stand on the board. Great experience and definitely will look to be back.

Nice friendly receptionist who patiently helped me complete my consent form as did not bring my glasses. - thanks.Also lovely instructor person who let us know we had put our seats in backwards to our inflatable kayak. First time we had done all this but persevered and turned out a lovely afternoon. Great value too for 2 hours of fun on the water. We will be back and better prepared with more family members next time to enjoy the picnic area.

This centre has been mixed to deal with. I have done many of the courses here and they have gone well (most of them), their instructors are good at what they do. Most instructors are quite easy to get along and they cover the content quite quickly. If you are coming here to go out on the waters or wanting to do a one-off course, you'd be fine. If you want to contact the instructor, you won't get anything back. I emailed my instructor and I've waited a month for a response. I've had to send numerous emails, call into the centre (spoke to numerous people) and talked to the instructor in person and it still wouldn't budge a response. I was told the query would be completed. After hearing nothing, I contacted the centre manager. After some emailing back and forth, I was told that they couldn't help with my query. I have no idea why I wasn't told this at the start. I also recently did a course in which new arrangements had to be made. Apparently. the centre manager was suppose to email me. I had received no further communication. I turned up to the course and I was informed I couldn't certify (before the course started) and I would have to pay for another course. I am now in the middle of a customer complaint with this centre as I have been told I have to spend more money to get the thing I originally wanted, which is a certificate. This centre could have more potential however, poor communication and not displaying important information on their website seems to be what's holding them back.

We had a brilliant team away day with PEAK at Trafford Watersports Centre. Thank you for all the help we received advising and organising the day, and running the activities. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. Special thanks to Lydia!

We booked a paddle boarding lesson at Sale Water Park for myself and my son. Our instructor was Liam and he was amazing. What a great guy. He paced the lesson just right and maximised the available time in the session. We will definitely be returning again soon. Thanks very much Oliver and Paul.
