Treehoppers Forest Kindergarten

Our son goes here and he absolutely loves it. The staff are brilliant, really friendly and have made him feel at ease from day 1 (he always checks who is in when we arrive!). Like most children he absolutely loves playing outside and the setting and activities have so much variety and inspiration, he's always coming home with stories about new things he's learned or adventures he has been on. Would highly recommend.

What a really fantastic setting with a wonderful, nurturing team of key workers! Our son has attended a handful of nursery/forest school settings this past year, (as we have moved house), and Treehoppers was without a doubt the best! Our son's confidence really grew, he was eager to tell us about what he had done at the end of the day, and spoke fondly of all of the staff there. Each day the children have different resources to play and learn with. The staff are always enthusiastic, engaging and quick to communicate and respond to emails etc. Forest school really suited our 'out doorsy' inquisitive little person. We cannot recommend it highly enough! 10/10! :)

The most wonderful setting, we are so happy out little boy gets to spend his day active, busy and engaged in interesting and exciting activities! Staff really listen to our needs and even on the rainiest days, the weather has not been a problem!

My daughter, Layla has spent almost 2 years at Treehoppers Forest School. It's a wonderful setting, loads of exciting things to do and explore. It is lead by a wonderful team who genuinely seem to care about the children's development. I would highly recommend this forest school to any parents.

We couldn’t be more pleased with Treehoppers, it really is such a magical place. We attended the Friday toddler group first for a few weeks then once our little boy turned 2 he joined the kindergarten. Joining the toddler club first was a great way to get him to used to it all, and for us to enjoy it together, so when it came to his first day he shouted ‘bye mumma and dadda!’ and ran off happily. Our son is really used to playing outdoors all the time and in all weathers, so Treehoppers suits him perfectly. The setting and the staff are really special, and I often find myself dropping him off and wishing I could stay to play too as it’s just so beautiful! Covid times meant he really hadn’t socialised with kids his age at all, or been to any other toddler clubs, but we have watched his confidence and ability to play with others soar under the supportive guidance of the Treehoppers team and it’s just so lovely to hear him chat about his friends when we collect him. His appreciation of all things nature has grown even more, and he really enjoys all the varied activities that go on each day. I tell everyone I meet about Treehoppers as it really is fantastic!

Our daughter attended Tree hoppers at Borde Hill over the summer & she has had a lovely time! The setting is beautiful & the childcare leaders are all so lovely & clearly enjoy their work & the children. If it wasn't for my daughter already being in a conventional preschool I would seriously consider sending her here all year round. As it is she will definitely be back next summer!

TreeHoppers is great! The team you have is a real credit to both Suzanne and Carol. Every mum I’ve met to date all say the same, it’s such a special place. Fantastic set up/venue, lovely staff who seem genuinely into each of the kids. Love the daily tapestry posts - seeing what all kids should be doing, lots of messy play outside! How lucky are they and us!

Our daughter has spent over 2 years at Treehoppers in Borde Hill and I can’t think of a more magical way to spend your early years. The camp is beautiful and it’s been lovely to see it change through the seasons and offer different activities from growing vegetables in spring to fun in the snow in winter. The team are amazing-so creative, kind and adventurous. Activities are imaginative and playful and have really engaged our daughter. She particularly enjoyed the campfire cooking, storytelling, making objects with tools and all the natural crafts. The community is wonderful too. We have all made some special friends. Thank you Treehoppers!

Tiny Treehoppers at Borde Hill is an expertly run group in beautiful natural surroundings. My two three-year-olds and I looked forward to going there each week to explore the evolving range of exciting themed activities on offer and to sing and listen to a story at the end. The organiser Suzanne is welcoming, friendly and well-organised. I can’t recommend this group and setting highly enough.

Our daughter absolutely loves her Treehoppers adventures! The setting is great and full of inspiration for the children's play. The staff are all really lovely, professional and experienced. The outdoor environment is amazing for the children, I personally feel that it's less intense for the children and full of wonder and learning potential. My daughter has loved each day that she's gone and it's really inspired her creative play. Most of us Treehoppers parents would also like to go and play, it's just the best setting!
