Brilliant service. Friendly, courteous and very helpful. No pressure selling. Viewed the car I purchased at my own leisure. That's why I did buy it. Excellent people. Met the boss, very nice chap. Zain the salesman was pleasant beyond reproach. I was actually happy parting with my hard earned money. Carlton motors for me, when I next change my car. Excellent. 10 out of 10 on every aspect of car buying. Excellent trade in too.

The gentlemen at Carlton Motors were very friendly and helpful, they answered all of the questions we had and delivered great customer service overall. We bought the car for a very reasonable price and it the car itself has been brilliant since we bought it. Would really recommend this company.

Never ever buy the car from this shop coz my mate he bought the BMW from here and he pay £250 deposit for the car and they supposed to make the car ready in few day but they didn’t fix the car and then they try to cheat on him and they told him u have to pay extra £600 for the clutch then my mate went there to get the deposit back they had fight with him n even they call the police to make problem for him n do not buy the car from they carwash which the carwash is a bit up of Carlton motors coz any car has problem they r selling as private at the carwash , very very careful

I wouldn’t entertain myself coming to this place I was interested and looked at a 2009 VW Golf TSI which has done nearly 99,000 miles and wasn’t in good condition either on the body work. Needed work doing to it and asking £4195, which i thought isn’t worth that amount of money for a nearly 10 year old car especially done that mileage. So I decided to make an offer of £3500 he said he’ll contact me the next day to have a word with his boss but he didn’t he wasn’t even decent enough to contact me and instead there was another person who looked at it after me on the same day and suppose to bought it. Well apparently not even decent enough to contact me and to even try to explain we could work something out I was there first and he should of made me a decent offer then, if I would of took his offer or not then he could decide to sell it to someone else if I didn’t wanted it. His attitude is bad on the phone, he makes out he’s friendly face to face. I had to phone him myself what was happening then he just said the car sold with no apology. No decency in this business whatsoever, it’s appalling they only want more money for cars that aren’t even at its best condition especially the one I looked at. I advice people who are light skinned don’t go to this place and buy a car because you will just get turned away and they will not bother with you they will only bother if you pay the full wack for a car. They’ll rather give it to someone who are well known to them, beside yourself.

On 1st impression i was pleased with how helpful they were, that was until the money exchanged hands. Things i had double checked before paying the deposit suddenly changed. I was told that the car had a logbook and a 2nd key once the money was handed over and the contract signed i was then told that the car didn't have a 2nd key and more importantly no logbook but was promised that if i took the form they gave me straight to the post office that they would stamp it tax the car and send it of for a new logbook. Gullible i know but i trusted them. only to find out the car was still in the original owners name and i couldn't tax it due to the DVLA needing to investigate and this would take 6 weeks which in that time we couldn't use the car. I contacted carlton motors who lied to me over and over and have since stopped correspondence. They will do nothing to help us out in the situation or take the car back. Real life con men. Please do not let this happen to you. Stay away!!!

The guy running the place seemed friendly enough. The office looked more like a construction site rather than a place you’d want to hand over money for a car.
