Simon taught both my Sons to swim. The class sizes were small & they always enjoyed their lessons. You could see real, tangible progress each lesson. I have happily recommended Simon & Swimabout to many friends

Our 3 boys have loved their Swimabout lessons over the last 2 years. Our youngest learned to swim with the team and our oldest has been inspired to go on to qualify as a swimming teacher this summer. Hence very happy to recommend Swimabout. And as a footnote we had been hoping not just for our kids to learn to swim but to be able to be safe - they have learned life guarding / life saving and survival techniques. 5*

Simon and his team have been brilliant for our children’s development in the pool over the last 3 years. Swimabout came recommended by Waterbabies when our eldest finished their courses with them - we’re really pleased with the tuition.All of the team are friendly, extremely hard working, and work with each individual child to get them to achieve their potential.I should also point out that there are nationally recognised groups offering classes much closer to our home but we travel 30 mins each way to Swimabout - and will continue to do so - because the quality of teaching is a cut above the rest.Thank you Simon and team!

My son started swimming with Swimabout when he was a shy 5 year old who wouldn’t even like getting his face wet but Simon & his team were brilliant and was very patience with him and now he is a confident 11 year old learning life saving skills. It’s been an amazing journey for my son and for me to watch. Can’t thank the team enough. So sad that Simon and his team will be moving to a different location but we’re hoping one day my son will be able to swim with Swimabout again.

Best place for your kids for swimming. Simon and the team have been teaching my kids from the start til now. My daughter hasn't have any confidence when start with them, she was scared to even get in the pool , now she is totally different person. Jumping in and out like nothing happened. Thank you so much for your patience and support over the years . Wish you all the best at your new place.

We having been using Swimabout for lessons for the last 8 years! Our eldest no longer has lessons and our middle child is now in the top group. All of our children have learned to swim with them and we can’t fault them at all. The convenience of being able to just go to one half hour session with all three children in the pool at once is unmatched anywhere else, and the lessons are so much fun. Simon coped brilliantly with our eldest who was autistic and went through phases of refusing to get in the pool, and he is now a much stronger swimmer than me. I have heard so many horror stories about lessons elsewhere, we wouldn’t use anyone else.

After trying different, bigger swim schools, my child arrived short on confidence and not enjoying swimming. Simon and the team worked hard to support him through this, making sessions fun while teaching good technique and building confidence until he was able to be safe in the water and swim ever-growing distances.. Great child-focused learning, tailored to the needs of our son.

My two children have been having lessons with Swimabout for several years and they absolutely love it! The teachers are engaging and caring and most importantly make lessons fun meaning that my children look forward to lessons and make great progress. Assessment for awards is done without the children feeling under pressure and the end of term pool parties are loved by kids and adults alike! Simon's team are are well organised, approachable and reliable with great communication. We always reccomend Swimabout to friends!
