Solartek fitted a window film which controls sun and heat through my windows. Organising this was really easy since the people in the office were friendly, helpful and knew their stuff. The fitters were great and made an excellent job of it.Their recommendation for the type of film has turned out to be perfect for my flat. Recently, on the day when the heat in my area was 40 deg C immediately outside the flat, the window film kept the inside temperature down to 25.5 deg C. This was awesome. I am so pleased because the film cost less than a portable air con unit and has no running costs like air con would.

Great professional service from when Bob came round and supplied the quote, and the installer completed the installation of the film in my conservatory he was extremely professional and very neat and tidy.Since we have had the film installed which is now about 3- 4 weeks we have noticed a considerable decrease in flies and bugs coming into the house bearing in mind the weather that we have been encountering all doors and windows are open. In my opinion this film is the reason behind this.

Just Fantastic!We recently added a large bi-fold door conservatory to some outhouses to create quite a large gym space along with some large patio doors and underestimated the heat generated despite reflective glass. Often up to 110 degrees + and the air-con unit did little to help. The karndene flooring all bubbled up with more dips than the roller-coaster at Blackpool!Solartek suggested a darker film for the glass roof and a lighter one for the doors and windows. I have to admit I was concerned at the potential loss of light.Worries unfounded! Not only can I see no appreciable difference in the light from either the 'darker' film or the standard one AT ALL but the heat issue has almost entirely gone. Quite frankly it's hard to believe and best of all you genuinely cannot see the film!Great fitters, clean and tidy, fitted on-time and on quote.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
